Lets not include in the debate the ones that are postmarked prior to the election. I think we agree that those are good to go. 

It's not about what I am fine with, it's about the rules and regulations of the state. I do like the idea of the paper trail. There has been issues with voting machines as well. It has been proven that in person voter fraud is a non-issue so we'll see what happens. I think election day should be a holiday though. 

I’m fine with a holiday but then its probably not as nesecary to have all the early voting expences.  With the exception of this covid year. 

Frankly, Id like to see online voting using blockchain tech. Save most everyone the hassle of going anywhere.  Though our countries past web endevors havent been very sucessful.  

As for the “rules” I’d be ok seeing a legal challenge for ballots after election day without postmarks.

I would like to see the polling places that have closed reopened. It is important that everyone that can vote has the opportunity to vote. I would like early voting not to be limited. Texans can now register online.

We’re in agreement. I guess the devil is in the details with anything online anymore. They “closed” our polling place and moved it to a new location. 

Here we have 9 districts with 22 poll locations to serve.....90-100k people or so. 

I have no idea if thats high/low or somewhere inbetween for locations to voters.

From what I have read it's just not the number of locations, it's also the quality of voting locations.  Locations in certain areas have better throughput, more and better machines than others, difference between being in line for minutes vs hrs.  Shouldn't there be a voting booth per capita standard?

Georgia has to reprogram 30,000 voting machines as of today because they have a "glitch" that removes a row of candidates if you scroll from one page to another and back. Other machines are prone to choices switching and those exact same machines do not have a paper trail. Hanging chads. Secret location ballot counting. Machines connected to wifi, machines delivered without power cords, power outages in certain polling locations.... Mail in voting is likely the least of our worries.

Regardless of when the ballot gets there. If a ballot gets there it gets there. Why would it not be valid? It is still a ballot. Also with the mail situation there have been problems with mail delivery for our deployed and other Americans overseas. Mail voting has been crucial for the military voting in elections. 

This is the most ridiculously hyped up story out there. When Americans actively pursue the limiting of people voting out of one side of their mouth and then complain about people kneeling during the anthem we have a real problem. And not being able to register that is terrifying.
