Creed Humphrey said he watches tape on Maurkice Pouncey (!), Travis Frederick, and Nick Mangold during the offseason to help improve his game. So, he's going to be arrested soon?

Creed Humphrey is an animal lover. He raised money for an animal shelter with his bench reps. His mom volunteers there. He says it was really to important him.

One of the easiest checks-all-the-boxes prospects to scout/project in this year’s draft is Oklahoma OC Creed Humphrey. Crushed his pro-day this morning. If you need a starting center in 2021 take him and shore up the position for the next 7-10 years.

C Humphrey, CB Brown stand out at Sooners’ pro day … While much of the draft focus today was on North Dakota State where QB Trey Lance worked out, at least a couple of former Sooners had pretty good days at Oklahoma’s pro day in Norman. C Creed Humphrey, for example, ran the 40 in 5.09 seconds and posted 29 reps in the BP, while also recording times of 4.46 seconds in the short shuttle and 7.54 in the 3-cone drill, both of which would have been top 3 marks among OL at last year’s combine. Meanwhile, CB Tre Brown (5-10, 185), one of the top players at this year’s Senior Bowl continued to add to his resume by running in the 4.40 range, along with a 38-inch vertical, although his BP (13 reps) and shuttle times were somewhat below average for the position.
On the other hand, several other Sooners had to be a little disappointed with their pro day results. DE Ronnie Perkins numbers, for example, were okay as he posted a 4.71 40 clocking and a 4.69 short shuttle time along with a 32-inch vertical. However, pro scouts probably were hoping to see a little more quickness and athleticism from a player who is somewhat undersized for the position. At the same time, Brown’s fellow CB Tre Norwood, only clocked a 4.58 in the 40, had a 33-inch vertical, 12 reps in the BP and relatively slow times in the shuttles. At the same time, OT Adrian Ealy only had 18 reps in the BP and barely broke 5.40 in the 40. Same story for RB Rhamondre Stevenson whose 40 time was over 4.60 seconds while he posted only 15 reps in the BP and a vertical of 31.5 inches. If there was a saving grace for Stevenson its that his shuttle times were closer to average among backs at the 2020 combine.

OT Van Lanen runs well at Badger pro day … Good on Wisconsin for at least posting the numbers from their pro day earlier today. Veteran OT Cole Van Lanen, the only Badger currently included in the GBN Big Board ranking of the top 200 prospects for the upcoming draft, had a decent day, with an unofficial clocking of 5.01 in the 40 with a 1.69 10-yard split. Both would have been among the top times at the 2020 combine. In fact, Van Lanen’s split time, if it holds up, would have been tied for the best figure last year. Van Lanen also had a pretty good, for an OL, vertical leap of 30 inches, but pro scouts had to be a little disappointed that he only managed 22 reps in the BP.
Meanwhile, 5-tech DE Isaiahh Loudermilk, was clocked in 4.95 seconds in the 40 along with 21 BP reps; while safety Eric Burrell was credited with a 4.65 40 time and FB Mason Stokke with a 4.82. One Badger who pro scouts may want to go back and look at some old tapes is CB Rachad Wildgoose who played in only 2 games this fall, but did have a total of 13 pass breakups over the two previous campaigns; Wildgoose posted a 4.41 40 at the Badgers’ pro day along with a 36″ vertical, but managed only 11 reps in the BP.

I wish they'd include arm length for these linemen.
