Roger Stone - dangerously corrupt
#1
This isn’t funny.  After being convitcted of 7 felonies and sentenced to 40 months in prison, Trump commuted his sentence.  Now he is openly calling for America to be a totalitarian dictatorship, and there’s no hyperbole:

https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/roger-stone-martial-law-donald-trump-election-001425669.html

Long-time Donald Trump confidant, and convicted felon, Roger Stone said that the president should declare “martial law” to seize power if he loses what Stone characterized as an already corrupt election.
The results will only be legitimate if the “real winner” — Trump — takes office, regardless of what the votes say, Stone declared. A loss would apparently be justification for Trump to use force to take over the nation.
Stone, who worked as an adviser in the last Trump campaign, made the astonishing statements Thursday on the InfoWars program of far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. Both men talked of an ongoing “coup” against Trump, and Stone inexplicably claimed that he predicted “almost three decades ago that this moment would come.”
Stone appeared resigned to a Trump loss — but blamed it on the baseless claim that early voting has already been “corrupted.”
To safeguard Trump’s position, Stone called for federal authorities to seize ballots in Nevada, for FBI agents to physically block certain voters from casting their ballots, and for Trump to use his powers for widespread arrests to solidify his power, Media Matters first reported.
Under martial law and the Insurrection Act, Trump will have “the authority” to arrest Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Apple CEO Tim Cook, “the Clintons” and “anybody else who can be proven to be involved in illegal activity,” Stone said. He also called for the immediate arrest of former defense secretary James Mattis for “sedition,” apparently because he feared Trump was unfit for office, according to Washington Post journalist’s to Bob Woodward’s upcoming book, “Rage.”
In addition, Stone warned, journalist also risk arrest. “If the Daily Beast is involved in provably seditious ... acts” in a new Trump future, their “entire staff can be taken into custody and their office can be shut down.” “They want to play war, this is war,” he added.
Stone demanded that “the ballots in Nevada on election night should be seized by federal marshals” and not counted, claiming with absolutely no evidence that “they are completely corrupted.”
While such off-the-rail suggestions could easily be shrugged off from most, Stone is a high-profile friend of the president and has his ear, critics fear. Harvard law professor and Constitutional expert Laurence Tribe warned that Stone’s “advocacy of totalitarian takeover by Trump has to be taken seriously.”
Former Nixon White House counsel John Dean blasted Stone for calling on Trump to “declare himself America’s dictator” — voicing what “many Republicans crave.”
Stone dodged 40 months in prison thanks to Trump, who commuted his sentence in July. Stone was convicted of seven federal felonies, including lying to Congress and witness tampering in the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Jones called Stone “almost a political prisoner.”

In short:
1) Regardless of what votes say, Trump should declare martial law and seize power by force
2) Immediate arrest of Gen. Mattis
3) All ballots in Nevada seized and not counted
4) Arrest and shut down all journalists of The Daily Beast

This isn’t some nutjob with a talk show, this is a former member of Trump’s campaign staff and someone who has the ear of the POTUS.  Question is, will Republicans have the balls to stand up for the country and Constitution and condemn this criminal POS, or will they stay quiet and let this dirtbag encourage Trump to destroy our democracy and turn into North Korea?
This shit should terrify all Americans ...

How sad...
So after reading the above (if at all you read it) all you came up with was...
  1.  To insult the person who made the post and
  2. To question the source
How low will people go? Are we really that biased or self centered?
If you attempted to read the article you would have noticed numerous citations and even a link to the audio.
The original audio is provided for goodness sake! Yet you flaunt the weak and escapist line if questioning the source.
Here is the audio from the article you dismissed. Feel free to reply (I hope after you listen to the audio on the page). Everyone deserves a second chance right?

A friend of ours who is a hardcore Trumper, as we're finding out now, says 'Stone did nothing wrong!'

This is what you are dealing with when you talk to cult members. They'll never admit to Trump being wrong about ANYTHING. It just gets stupid at some point and you realize some of the friends and family you've known for a long time can be extremely ignorant.

Hey genius,

It’s an excerpt from a fucking audio taken from an interview with InfoWars.  Are you saying Stone didn’t say any of that?

This is a pretty partisan article that at its foundation, makes some incorrect assumptions.

Roger Stone is a loud mouth jack-ass. That’s a very widely held opinion on both sides of the isle. Contrary to claims, he and Trump are not friends nor have they ever been. They’ve been involved for 30 years, with almost all of that time involving Stone soliciting donations for Republicans from the Trump family.
This is Stone in general. His bag is being a “dirty trickster” as he’s referred to himself. He will do what he needs to do for whomever is paying him. He’d happily go against Trump if he was doing work for another Republican. He’s a guy political people will use if needed. So “friendship” or “confidant” is really a stretch here. Stone pushed Trump for decades to run as well. Believing he would win. The two have had a number of falling outs over the years with Trump referring to him as a loser - always taking credit for things he had nothing to do with.

This last point by Trump is exactly why Stone has a criminal record. When Wikileaks released the DNC/Hillary emails, he claimed knowledge or involvement. As is often the case, he was lying. Congress brought him in for testimony and shockingly he lied to them. He did the same to the FBI before finally admitting he knew nothing about it. He had made the claims simply to boost his status.
Eventually, an FBI Swat team, backed up by CNN, would raid his home. He was in his mid-60’s at the time and had no criminal record. He was home with his blind wife. Known as a loudmouth idiot, he had “kind of threatened” (best description) a friend of his asking him not to testify or say anything if interviewed. The friend didn’t take it as a threat because Stone is a dink.
The FBI raid was one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen any law enforcement agency do for such a minuscule risk offender. There is only one single reason for using a SWAT team - political optics. I personally spent 3 year as point on a regional SWAT team and I would have laughed my ass off if anyone asked me to kit up for Roger Stone! I’d have told everyone to stay home, knocked on his door and taken him into custody. Hell, could have called the guy to come to the office and he’d have shown up. CNN didn’t need to be there to let me know it was politically motivated, but they sure made it more obvious.

In a normal world, Stone wouldn’t have been prosecuted. In fact, it’s unlikely anyone would have paid him any attention. The reason he was arrested and convicted is because Mueller’s uber corrupt prosecutors needed a win of some sort. Especially when they had nothing else.
What people don’t understand yet is Bob Mueller knew there was no Trump/Russia collusion. As did James Comey. This is because the FBI had already spent nearly a year “investigating” the absurd story. On January 7th, 2016, the primary source for the entire collusion narrative, flat out told the FBI it was manufactured. You need to understand this fact to understand why Stone was picked up. At least in Stone’s case, he’d actually committed a crime, unlike General Mike Flynn who is completely demonstrably innocent.
All of the charges/convictions of the Mueller investigation were the little that they could find on a criminal investigative fishing expedition of people around Trump. They didn’t care much about them, they were just hoping to find Trump had done something illegal. When they figured out there was no there there, we got the joke of a circus show we all endured for 2+ years.

Look folks, there’s a reason why Mueller and team have been destroying evidence as fast as they can. There’s a reason the phones were wrecked. It’s hilarious that this team of “the best of the best” claim they erased their phones because they couldn’t remember their password! It’s beyond stupid. The fact the media doesn’t lambast them tells you all you need to know about how corrupt they’ve become.
I’ve written extensively about the ongoing coup attempt against Trump. The spying started before he even had the nomination. The Obama administration was spying on multiple Republican campaigns. They were doing so by utilizing FBI “contractors” accessing the “about” search on NSA systems. Mike Rogers would eventually figure it out and block them from the system. This is what necessitated the fake FISA warrants. They had lost their spying intel feed.
This is an exceptionally long story and incredibly complex. Like I mentioned, I’ve written going on 3 years now about this. Finally, people are starting to get a clue about what I’ve been saying. The coup has not stopped. The left and a portion of the right will do literally anything to wrest control back. Any means necessary. They are using a compliant media coupled with an extensive propaganda system and manipulation of nearly every social media system you interact with.
Every second of everyday, each one of you is drilled with well crafted stories designed to manipulate how you think. This is why we see comments about Trump won’t leave. This isn’t a haphazard belief. If unable to successfully cheat this election or less likely even win legitimately, the left and some of the right will not concede. It doesn’t matter if Joe Biden is an empty suit at this point (frigging sad to see btw). It’s not about him. Trump has been and still poses an exceptional risk to so many people’s illegal and legal cash flows. He has to be removed. He’s too dangerous to people who are exceptionally powerful.
This is why the desire for mail voting is so high. It by far, poses the best method to cheat. In fact, it makes cheating easy, Ballot Harvesting a piece of cake. Mail voting was studied about ten years ago by Jimmy Carter and I think James Baker. Their conclusion was a national mass mailing of ballots posed an extremely high risk of fraud. This should be self-evident to anyone, but we now live in a post rational thought world.
So, expect a war coming in November. If unable to secure the national mail in voting that essentially has zero controls, the left will go to their next play in the playbook. I expect more manufactured claims of illegal activity that is completely devoid of basic evidence. This will be followed by a coming together of former Trump officials to claim he is not fit to serve in October.
Much of the eventual stability of our nation will rely upon restoration of the rule of law. I’m afraid it’s on John Durham to bring it. He and Bill Barr are the last honest people we’ve got. Barr has seen a lot of claims of politicizing His position and will see far more the closer we get. They haven’t touched John Durham much yet. That’s because he’s essentially the last Boy Scout. His integrity is unquestionable and his reputation impeccable. He poses the greatest threat to many people because he’s honest, fair, unafraid, and can’t be bought. Same problem Bill Barr has. If Durham doesn’t begin making arrests and informing the public in detail what has been going on, it’s hard to imagine how the election will go.
At the end of the day, Trump will not be a dictator or any other nonsense these stories spew. We are all being conditioned for a month long counting of the election and extreme unrest. That’s because this is most likely what will happen. Even if Trump wins handily, they will not concede and ballots will keep mysteriously appearing.
Prepare yourselves folks. It could really go sideways.

You wrote so much ridiculous koolaid I can’t even see where to start.

- Trump has already been acting like a dictator.  Between rejecting checks and balances, snubbing subpoenas, attacking the press and our election integrity, firing Inspector Generals, and He just commuted a felon convicted of impeding the very investigation into Trump himself.  Perhaps you should look into the definition and behaviors of dictators?
- Bill Barr is honest??  That’s hilarious.  https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2020/06/08/attorney-general-barrs-dishonest-defense-clearing-lafayette-square/?outputType=amp
Attorney General Barr’s dishonest defense of the clearing of Lafayette SquareIn the last week Barr accused the integrity of mail in ballots of being at risk BUT ADMITTED HE HAD ZERO EVIDENCE OF IT.  His lead prosecutor just QUIT because of his political pressure to arrive at a conclusion before the election.  He was a dishonest schmuck during the Reagan and Bush transition and covered up their criminal activities from Iran-Contra affair and he is doing the same for Trump.
- Trump himself just said at his last rally he should be entitled to 8 more years.  Yet you accuse people “being manipulated with well crafted stories” to make us think he won’t leave office??  It is Trump’s own fucking comments.  And really, talk about being manipulated - irony is thick here.

- Weren’t you the same dude that went into long winded rant how no way the Russians hacked the DNC it was inside job?  Yeah then the Mueller Report came out and nuked that conspiracy theory and destroyed your entire assertion.  You have already been proven to be dead wrong about your conspiracies.
And really, mail in voting has been done for over 3 decades in my home state of Oregon along with WA and there’s been almost zero fraud - but that doesn’t fit your koolaid version of reality your rightwing tinfoil hat blogs tell you.
