Such a risk, nobody drafted him. 6'2", 202 lbs and can run a 4.49 and his rep was so bad, he wasn't drafted. Pretty rare that nobody even took a 7th on him, shows how bad his background was. Now he can put everything behind him if he stays straight. I mean, he could get a BIG contract either from Minnesota or someone else. He's talented enough to, whether he will or not remains to be seen. That kind of physical talent is hard to give up on but I think this is his last chance.
can't be suspended for weed anymore
So many storylines on this team...Hill is one of the top 3 no doubt.
The physical talent is there if he can grow-up and maybe conquer a demon or 2.
He appears to be a liability along with Big Mike who picked up where he left off last season. But in fairness, there wasn't much pressure from the defensive line or when blitzing.
It's only one game and they sure could improve, but right now they appear to be worse than last year.
We all knew going into this game it was probably a very unlucky convergence of:
Baby DB's
Aaron Rogers
No Hunter/Pierce
Aaron Rogers
No home field advantage
Aaron Rogers
YN new to the scheme
Aaron Rogers
Little to no preseason for the pup players
Aaron Rogers
The outcome hurts, but hardly surprising. And I agree, the lack of pass-rush exacerbated things greatly in the lack of a pass defense today.
So Gladney wasn't even active yesterday? Yikes.

I don't think he got any snaps, but he wasn't even active? Is that true? If so, that's probably good news. If he wasn't active, it likely means they're taking it slow with his injury. If he was active and didn't play, it's more about trust than health.

I was wrong, he was active. But got some sporadic snaps in the 4th quarter.

That does not bode well. I understand that these guys are young and have a lot to learn, but in a game like this to not see meaningful time is a little concerning, especially for a 1st round draft pick. I hope it's just about the injury.
They suited him up for special teams play...My mistake earlier.
I dont know if he saw any snaps with the 1st team D.
Hughes and Hill are their best bets today at the outside corner, needle in the slot.
