OT: HBO documentary 'Class Action Park'

This is unbelievable. I was driving to the airport about a year ago when I heard some DJs on the radio talk about this place. I thought they were exaggerating.....but they weren't. I had never heard of it. People DIED here and it stayed open. Its so crazy, have to watch it.

wholly cow - this place was crazy, full of drunks / idiots - and those were just the people who ran it! I am definitely going to watch this. Thanks for the link explaining what this place was. Curious if anyone here at VF was there. Do we have members from New Jersey? Anyone almost lose their life there (or teeth)?

We have one. Word is he ran the place. And he would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for a few meddling kids from Minnesota. That's right. It was Rick Spielman, on vacation with his family, that finally blew the whistle on Action Park.

...or at least that would explain a few things.  B)

I live in Jersey, but only went there once as a kid. Was a much bigger fan of Great Adventure. I don't remember much being that it was so long ago. Maybe I got a concussion from one of the death traps and didn't even realize it.
