Trump’s new batshit crazy conspiracy theory
#1
https://news.yahoo.com/trumps-plane-loaded-thugs-rumor-123200002.html

Republicans for the love of God ... I think we have all given the drunk uncle at Thanksgiving a chance, but it’s time to take his crazy ass home and take away the keys.  This isn’t funny anymore ...
Trump's 'plane loaded with thugs' conspiracy theory matches months-old rumorBen Collins
September 1, 2020, 7:32 AM CDT

In an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Trump claimed that “we had somebody get on a plane from a certain city this weekend, and in the plane it was almost completely loaded with thugs, wearing these dark uniforms, black uniforms, with gear and this and that.”
He then claimed the matter was “under investigation right now.”
There is no evidence of any such flight. When Ingraham asked for more information about the flight, the president said, "I'll tell you sometime." He then alleged the people had been headed to Washington to disrupt the RNC.
Before mentioning the uniformed men who allegedly boarded the plane, Trump claimed that there are “people that are in the dark shadows” and “people that you haven’t heard of” controlling Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
Ingraham pressed the president for more details and said it sounded like he was alleging a conspiracy.
“They’re people that are on the streets. They’re people that are controlling the streets,” Trump said.

This is a sick, sick man.  A plane full of ninjas??  People in the dark shadows controlling Biden, controlling the streets???
You guys are seriously going to vote for a fucking lunatic ranting about shit that belongs in the National Enquirer, that kids in Facebook wouldn’t even take seriously.
And yet the GOP stays silent, says nothing, like all of this is perfectly normal behavior for the President of the US ...
How the fuck did we go from a little lie about crowd sizes at inaugaration to planes filled with ninjas and dark shadows controlling Biden and the streets?  Don’t any of you see how fucking insane he sounds?

STILL NOT AT ROCK BOTTOM, GOP HAS ENTERED AN ALTERNATIVE REALITY WITH ALTERNATIVE FACTS AND A NUTJOB OF A LEADER

He’s not backing down either, enter Day 2 of Trump World:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-claims-plane-loaded-with-thugs-anarchists-looters-rioters-165416591.html
For the second time in as many days, President Trump claimed without evidence that a plane filled with left-wing agitators either was or had been traveling somewhere within the U.S.
“A person was on a plane, said that there were about six people like that person, more or less, and what happened is the entire plane filled up with the looters, the rioters, the anarchists, people that were obviously looking for trouble and the person felt very uncomfortable on the plane,” Trump said Tuesday at Joint Base Andrews before departing to visit Kenosha, Wis.
The president has yet to reveal the identity of the person who allegedly saw the left-wing activists on the plane. “I will see whether or not I can get that person to speak to you but this was a first-hand account of a plane going from Washington to wherever and I’ll see if I can get that information for you, maybe they’ll speak to you, maybe they won’t,” he said Tuesday.

I say we demand a full investigation.  There’s a witness according to Trump thrn have him testify under oath, along with the flight crew and pilots.  If it’s true it should be further investigated.  If it’s not, then invoke the 25th amendment and throw Trump the fuck out of office as he is obviously unfit to lead the country.
What a fucking embarrassing shitstain era of our nation’s history.

I'm curious what Trump supporters think when they hear all of this crazy shit? Is it, "damn, I wish he'd shut up. I'll still vote for him, but he's a damn nut." Or do they pick through his bat shit looking for shards of truth?

I'll admit I'm not impressed with either major candidate and will likely vote third party.  My state always votes R with +15 to 25 majority so my vote won't matter one way or other.  Our 4 electoral votes have been R for more than 50 years.

Apparently, this one has been around for a while:

https://www.salon.com/2020/09/01/thugs-on-a-plane-trumps-bizarre-yarn-echoes-viral-facebook-rumor--and-rudy-giulianis-rants/
There is no evidence of such a flight. When Ingraham asked Trump to say more, the president replied, "I'll tell you sometime." The unidentified black-clad "thugs," the president said, were headed to Washington D.C., to disrupt the RNC.
NBC News' Ben Collins later reported that the rumor lines up with a viral Facebook post from June 1, which falsely claimed to have observed a similar sinister contingent on board a flight from Seattle to Boise, Idaho: "At least a dozen males got off the plane in Boise from Seattle, dressed head to toe in black."
That post — apparently from a man from Emmett, Idaho — advised Boise residents: "Be ready for attacks downtown and residential areas," claiming that one group member had "a tattoo that said Antifa America on his arm."
Collins reports that the Facebook post had been shared more than 3,000 times, and other pages from the area "added their own spin," including the state branch of right-wing militia group the 3 Percenters.
One such post, Collins writes, alleged that the Payette County Sheriff's Office had confirmed that "Antifa has sent a plane load of their people." This wasn't true, and the post spread so widely that the actual Payette County Sheriff's Office felt compelled to release a statement clarifying that the rumor was "false information."

Kenosha business owner declines President Trump photo-op, former owner replaces him
Quote:A Kenosha business owner is accusing President Donald Trump of using his destroyed store for political gain.

Tom Gram’s century-old camera shop burned to the ground a week ago during the unrest in Uptown Kenosha.

Gram said he declined President Trump’s request to be a part of his tour of damage Tuesday in Kenosha. Instead, a former owner of the shop was invited and he praised the president’s efforts.

Gram has owned Rode’s Camera Shop since he bought the business from the Rode family eight years ago.

He worked at the store for more than four decades, but that all came to an end last Monday when the building went up in flames.
