If players can opt out for 1 season,  teams should have the same option.  It should be at the discretion of the college to play or not and that decision should be based on the participation level of the coaches and players,  they are the ones with the most to lose by what ever decision is made. 

The testing costs should however come out of program funds and not siphoned out of other student program accounts imo.

Colleges and conferences are really angsting and twisting over this one...There wont be a consensus among coaches, players or admin. 

Schools and conferences are scared as f@ck against someone dying vs a lot of coaches and a lot of players want to play.

so the players and coaches that want to participate sign waivers,  if somebody chooses to not sign the waiver they are not eligible to play this year.  If a school cant get enough coaches and players to sign waivers then their decision is made for them.

another thought in this should be the officials and game day crews like the chain gangs,  I am sure the coaches and players want to play,  but I doubt they would be happy playing with shit reffing.
