This is Facebook in a nutshell. 

I drastically cut back on Facebook during the months leading up to the 2016 election. It was a cesspool full of BS. I spent more time saying "That's not true" and posting links to facts that it just became too much. I watched people who I used to think were reasonable start to buy into the craziest theories. I went to Twitter where I could see nutty posts from people I don't know rather than people I know. I give up

Churchill was an inspiring war-time leader. He was also an appalling racist, imperialist, and peace-time political fanatic who was kicked out of office days after the war ended. Both can be true. And you know who did more to defeat Hitler than Churchill and the Americans combined? Communists.
