Insanity. His head the concrete so hard that it can be heard loud enough for the cops walking in the street to stop.

The misinformation and crazy conspiracy theories are going to be insane over the next few months.

Ah yes, David Icke. This is the person my white, evangelical, home-schooling, Trump cultist, anti-vaxxing, batshit-conspiracy-theory-believing sister-in-law recommended I read after she told me how foolish I was to believe mainstream media sources like the "failing" New York Times and "fake news" CNN when they were reported back in March that Covid-19 was kind of a big deal.

Yeah, I remember my batshit relatives discovering e-mail and getting all sorts of crap daily.  I just figured they were lonely living in their Airstream in rural Idaho, never in my wildest dream would I have thought this shit would end up in the being the Zeitgeist that put Trump in the WH.

This is Facebook in a nutshell.
I drastically cut back on Facebook during the months leading up to the 2016 election. It was a cesspool full of BS. I spent more time saying "That's not true" and posting links to facts that it just became too much. I watched people who I used to think were reasonable start to buy into the craziest theories. I went to Twitter where I could see nutty posts from people I don't know rather than people I know. I give up Confused

Antifa, is mostly a dog whistle for the conservatives.  It's a movement, resorting to action instead of working on policy, the focus is anti fascist, so that's kinda telling.  So if your Anti Anti-fascists, must mean your pro fascism, you know  "far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition".

Wow.
If this is the historical ignorance we’re entertaining, maybe it is time to expatriate.

what are today’s AntiFa doing presently?
Defacing a statue of Churchill in London as racist, among other nefarious activities.

You know...CHURCHILL.   Quite possibly THE individual responsible for not all of Europe goose-stepping to honor the 5th Reich. Comparing the 80 yo universally celebrated show of real courage, to today’s AntiFa?

I thought you guys were the ones kvetching over America’s standing in the world, under Trump?

What an absurd/perverted comparison.

Churchill was an inspiring war-time leader. He was also an appalling racist, imperialist, and peace-time political fanatic who was kicked out of office days after the war ended. Both can be true. And you know who did more to defeat Hitler than Churchill and the Americans combined? Communists.
We are all anti-fascists. Or at least we should be.

This is exactly spot on.

World isn't always black/white, right/wrong. If only it were that simple.

Churchill was a racist who openly spouted Anglo-Saxon superiority. Yet was also a supreme, war-time leader who inherited a shit show from the greatest appeaser ever, mr peace in our time...
