OT: Site slow?

Is it just me or is this site painfully slow for everyone this morning?

i noticed it starting yesterday,  i have sent a message to mike.

Yeah, it's painfully slow a lot of the time for me.

I just noticed it last night

seems to be a wordpress issue in my feeble digging.  watching the status bar of the browser, it seems to hang longest on wp.com and other wordpress sites.
I see "waiting for"  vikefans.com and pixel.wp.com as the two that hang the longest.

seems to be clicking along much better for me now.  Thanks Mike or who ever got it tuned up.
