I thought this was a good read.  I hope others are able to view?

Can the Vikings Defense Get There This Year? (msn.com)

I like the how the Vikings are set up at corner to improve over the next year or two. But we've got to figure out the future at the safety position and, above all, find a pass rush, especially inside.

That would be my pick in the 1st round if there were one worth taking.

Dane Brugler writes: "Over the last 30 years, only one draft (2017) had a first-round come and go with no defensive tackles selected. It could happen again next April, as the 2021 class doesn’t have a lock first-round interior defender."

Terrific.

The rookie I'm most excited to see more of is Harrison Hand. A hamstring injury has slowed him down this year, but out of his 69 snaps, he has the highest grade of all the cornerbacks.

I think Hand is a good run defender and could be a better safety (than corner) in the NFL. Kris Boyd is also a guy IMO that could make the move to safety next season?

I expect the Vikings to draft a corner and a safety at some point in the middle rounds but the replacement for Anthony Harris could fall on the shoulders of Hand or Boyd?

Josh Metellus has only 13 snaps and a PFF grade of 40.3 at the safety position.

The Vikings should be looking at safety in the first 4 rounds!
