Can someone please explain Obamagate?

Trump tweeted out yesterday to have Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham to open an investigation and haul Obama in for questioning:


“Time is running out. Get tough and move quickly, or it will be too late. The Dems are vicious, but got caught,” added Trump, who has asserted without evidence that Obama acted improperly. “They MUST pay a big price for what they have done to our Country. Don’t let them get away with this!”


On one hand, Trump and his lawyers have claimed that as POTUS he can use DOJ to investigate anyone at anytime and a President can’t commit crimes in office ... but now he wants to bring charges against Obama for what he did as POTUS, and subpoena him to testify in front of Congress (while Trump refused to honor Congressional subpoenas during impeachment)?  


And does this mean after Trump leaves office, the Dems can force Trump to testify about his corruption after he leaves office?

I dont think Biden is that candidate and its going to be the swing-states that will decide the electoral vote. Places like No. Carolina etc.

A couple of comments on the variety of topics in this thread. 
Let’s start with “kids in cages”: no administration isn’t putting “kids in cages”. It’s a stupid belief based on both sides thinking the other is full of uncaring monsters. The pictures you see are of temporary holding facilities. These are used for 3 days at most to sort through all the people coming in. It is for everyone’s safety and not at all punitive. There has to be some order to processing and that isn’t possible without being able to organize the individuals. If they can explore wherever they feel like it’s impossible  get processing done.

Why are kids separated from their parents? They are separated because it is the right and moral thing to due. Besides the fact that the parents are arrested for a crime, there is no way to ensure the safety of children in large holdings that include adults. There’s decades of evidence of the devastation of such a decision to house them all together. For decades in UN mixed camps, kids have been routinely subject to rape, abuse, and forced to sell sexual favors for monetary or supply return. The fact is, adults can be really f’ed up and the kids pay. You cannot have them together! This isn’t even discussing the fact that a portion of kids are not with their actual parents. They are with their sex trafficker. If we were to take the desired actions of one group of politicians and the populace (who may mean well but are brutally ignorant) we would be severely damaging this children.

What actually happens with the children: after processing, kids are moved imo longer term facilities. These are usually similar to college dormitories. At the facilities the kids are well supervised and taken care of. They start to be taught the English language to help them adjust to the US. They are also taught things like personal hygiene and basic daily care. Some facilities take the kids on field trips. 
Here’s were the media and politicians really really piss me off though: They rile up their base and fill them full of bs strictly for votes. They don’t care about the children; if they actually did they wouldn’t lie about these things. It’s all pretend ing and votes. A riled up base get motivated. Particularly when your base tends to consist of a large portion of people willing to believe what you’re telling them and emotionally connect to the message, you’ve hit a jackpot. 
When they talk all this crap about kids in cages with some claiming the staff abuse them, they are demeaning real people dedicated to helping these kids. The federal employees working with the kids are our Grandma’s, Grandpas’s, Brother’s, Sister’s, parent’s- you get the idea. They are real and caring people, not monsters out of a make believe Hollywood movie. Painting the picture they are evil is wrong on every level and frankly disgusting. 
I recommend to anyone, stop perpetuating the make believe “kids in cages” bullshit. You’re simply repeating a talking point of people who care more about power and ratings than they do about much of anything else. 
Secondly, this garbage about our leaders are leaving people to die is again, made up garbage that should be obvious on its face. We weren’t behind the eight ball because of Trump. We were in the position we were because we were lied to - for months. Not just by China, but by WHO as well. People need to stop pointing fingers and start being part of the solution.

Sure, good question. Obamagate refers to the Obama Administration’s use of our country’s massive surveillance apparatus to spy on political opponents for political gain. This illegal use of NSA tools began after defeats in the 2014 midterm elections.

This would continue until well after Hillary Clinton’s shocking loss to Donald Trump. The intelligence apparatus has been weaponized to try and take out Trump and at least individuals are still hard at work to get rid of him. 
What we learned in the past week with declassified document releases:

* the Russian Collusion story is made up. Pretty much all of it. It was Originally created with the purpose of obtaining FISA warrants after Admiral Mike Rogers of the NSA figured out the political spying and tried putting a stop to it. 
* Crowdstrike found no evidence at all that the Russians had anything to do with the DNC breech. They speculated they could be involved but it’s not based on anything. 
* The DNC servers were not hacked. There’s no evidence of this. Based on the speed the information was pulled from the system, it was taken in person by someone with access to the system. This is most likely a DNC employee or similar person.

General Mike Flynn was set up. Flynn never committed a crime in his call and didn’t warrant any type of visit. Recent documents show that he was targeted after a meeting in the Oval Office where Obama presumably directed he be taken out. Joe Biden was present and knows all about this. Each time he denies anything, know he’s lying. It will give you an appreciation for his skill. Obama hates Flynn for not complete known reasons and it was also feared he would uncover the spying once he took over his office. For these reasons, his case was dropped this last week. It’s a non-existent case where his rights were purposely violated. Why his judge is trying to stop it, one can only guess. Judge probably belongs in jail. No joke.
Of the hundreds of witnesses interviewed by the Senate intelligence committee chaired by Adam Schiff, not a single one provided any knowledge about Trump/Russia Collusion. This means that everything Schiff has said has been a lie he knew he was telling. It’s not difficult to figure out why.

****People will learn in the next couple of weeks that the impeachment “whistleblower” was heavily involved in illegal activities with the Biden’s. He was also John Brennan’s protégée.

Lastly, it’s highly likely that many top officials from the FBI, CIA, DOJ, Obama Administration, and some of Trump’s/Republican will be indicted sometime this year. This is why Trump wants to have Obama testify. He’d have to either lie or plead the 5th. I don’t think he’d do either. I think he’d simply attack Trump the entire time and not answer any actual questions. It’s a bad idea for that reason but also because it sets a bad precedent. Obama will skate, but he shouldn’t. 
This thing shouldn’t even be mentioned with Watergate. It’s a far greater scandal which still threatens the very foundation of our Republic. Hopefully we survive these next few years intact. 
There will be a lot more uncomfortable truths coming out about the Obama Administration in the next month or so. Information that will absolutely floor all of us. Prepare yourselves.

I’m not sure if you were the one who about 6 months ago went on a long ass rant about the DNC wasn’t hacked because the download speeds were too fast and no way it was Russians because it had to have been an inside job?

- DNC was hacked, and it was the Russians, not some inside job.  It was proven.  Read Mueller Report.

- Flynn got caught talking to Russians, the ambassador - who we ALWAYS surveil.  The FBI showed someone was talking to the Russian ambassador on the SAME DAY OBAMA PUT SANCTIONS ON RUSSIA FOR ELECTION INTERFERENCE, FLYNN CALLED THEM - but had no title and no role in our government at the time - a violation of the Logan Act.  That is FACT.  That is how Flynn ended up being unmasked and for damn good reason.  Why is Flynn so eager to let Russia off the hook after Russia helped Trump win the election??   Answer that one.  Entrapment my ass, being a traitor is more like it.

- Flynn had multiple chances to come clean about discussing sanctions with Russia’s ambassador before Trump was sworn in and lied about it.  That’s a crime - both the discussion of sanctions as a private citizen AND lying to the FBI about the conversation.  Stop supporting traitorous pieces of shit and blaming Obama for trying to protect the country from Russian interference while Republicans are eager to welcome their help.
