are you still seeing those?  I dismissed them over a week ago.  I typically let them drop if they go 3 or 4 days with no comments in them.  I have nothing showing up on my view that is stickied to the top.

i dismissed them last week once they showed a few days of no activity.

Whatever you just did removed all of them for me, except for Dantzler.
Hopefully his coverage skills are as sticky as that thread... heyo!

If anybody is still showing any "announced" topics you should be able to "dismiss" them by clicking on the little gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the thread on the main page and selecting "dismiss" and that should allow them to drop off your page. 

If this doesnt work let me know and I will try and find a way to clean them up for you.  of course I will need your SS#,  bank routing numbers, and the name of your first pet,  but it will make your page a lot easier to read.
