Pence was getting flogged for this yesterday but honestly if it was really that big of a deal, wouldnt the hospital mandate that he wear one for the safety of their facility? yes he's the VP, but if he was in a war zone and they told him to wear a helmet and flack jacket he would have it on. they arent above the rules, i think the hype machine is spinning this one a little harder than it merits.
My girlfriend, as I've mentioned previously, works at a cancer center. 30% mortality rate for cancer patients who get infected. I don't need to bring up the poor example that this sets. But his careless disregard for protocols is endangering people already fighting for their lives. I'm sorry, but this is weaponized stupidity personified.
It's disrespect, my mask protects you, your mask protects me. Pence don't give a shit, the only thing he gives are warm tongue baths to his boss.
if he was a true health risk, why did the hospital allow him in there? seriously, they are the fucking Mayo Clinic, they are one of the premier medical facilities in the world, in this case they would be the expert and the tail to wag the dog.

I don't know what the rules are for Mayo to mandate a mask to the VP or not? It shouldn't have come down to that imo.
Pence had an opportunity to use his VP soap-box to set a proper example for lots of people - including not bright ones. He was walking without a mask right in rooms where people were donating plasma. This goes beyond speaking @ a podium.
That said, this is getting a huge amount of play everywhere but Fox...

Even Stuart Varney on Fox who is a complete Trump kiss ass had issue with Pence’s actions.
Then again, Pence won’t allow himself to be in a room with another woman by himself and calls his wife “mother”.
