Super happy. Had the highest catch rate in FBS this year. 82.8%! He had a good QB throwing to him, but that’s just ridiculous. It says elite at the catch point even while well covered and pure natural hands. He played against some of the best College Football had to offer.
One very odd thing about how he was viewed, was this “slot receiver” title. As a true Sophomore he played mostly outside and had a great season considering where Joe was at developmentally. I think he was underrated and it probably had to do with a deep class and being on a great team. If you watch the tape though, he made Joe look as good as Joe made him look. |
