The irony of you calling me delusional repeatedly, while I refrain from calling names, is not surprising.

Seems like a whole lot of baiting going on. I will leave that stuff alone and continue posting the news.

At least with trump you get his brilliant appointtees. The bulk of Americans are living check to check.

entire package,  wouldnt that include the parts that allow employers to keep paying employees during lay off or the changes made to unemployment to get people on it quicker?  I have been working the whole time,  but wasnt there a lot more to the "package" than just the $1200 checks?

Employers aren't doing that. I can only speak from personal experience as my girlfriend is working for a hospital chain that trump met with as part of the restart meetings.

The whole SBA payroll loans become grants only if they pay employees salaries.  If they lay them off they pay it back.

Employers still responsible for payroll taxes and insurances ... so no benefit really to them other than to retain workers.

well then the employee gets unemployment on top the 1200 check.   point is there is more than just that check to get them by.  IIRC werent they changing the unemployment rules as well though so that was quicker to kick in and or paid a higher amount?

actually its a harm,  imagine paying the tax and insurance for dozens of employees when you have no income... that was a dumb ass waste of time if they were going to make that a provision.

I have clients that walked away from it because of this.  Better to have workers get unemployment.

The idea was for businesses to retain workers.
