Post Coronavirus Lifestyle Changes

On a more somber note (does it get much more somber than these days?) I'm reading about increases in day-drinking etc.

I suspect we're going to see an uptick in addictions, deeper types of depression, psychosis etc.

Lot's of people don't have good coping skills and/or demons to battle that are going to win more fights. We're going to have to find a way to support those souls.
so you are saying instead of investing in Boeing and Chevron I should have been putting my money into booze stocks?

I think I'll keep more paper products, cleaning supplies, non-perishable or frozen food, & dog food around. Not like a crazy amount, but trying to stay ahead on those things, since I've found during this that I was prepared, but what got me was that other people in my life like my mom weren't, so having enough for me hasn't been enough. I'll also definitely be wiping down airplane seats and trays in the future. I'll probably be more open to working from home, though I still greatly prefer working with people in person. I'll also likely wear a mask or stay home when I feel sick. When this settles down I still intend to travel, go to concerts, play sports, and everything else I did previously.

I am still OK on food,  but if this hit at the end of a beef... I would be crying like a little bitch about not having enough beef to survive.   a month or so from now would be catastrophic... i would be forced to go buy that grocery store crap the rest of you have to live with.  B)

this is my hand after washing so much:

Days are a blur, I need routine back...

Emotionally? I have my peaks and valleys. The suffering of mankind right now is heart-breaking.

We're doing a soft open at our business this week. Social distancing, lots of rules, appointment only.

I think that'll do me some good - and my wife too lol!

Once they're back in stock, I'll be stocking up on ventilators.

Flu shots and whatever vaccine they come up with will become routine.
