I think the only team we could rule out taking a QB would be The Bengals.

And Philly? Got the tie today, which could haunt at draft time (0/2/1)

Through 3 weeks there are seven, 1 win teams

Will be interesting to see who improves, who regresses as the season progresses.

Giants and Eagles will play one another....SOMEONE has to win...
Broncos play Falcons 11/8....Someone has to win.

if Texans beat us, then there out of the “Tank for Trevor”

Jets are truly aweful.

The Texans have their QB, we do play 2 of these teams sandwiched around our upcoming loss to Seattle however. Trap games for tankers... Wink

I don't think the Texans, Bengals or Giants will take a QB. The Falcons are utterly ridiculous in how they are losing games, they are probably the best team along with the Texans in that group that will eventually start to win. And would the Eagles give up on Wentz already? Maybe. So looking at that list I think the Jets and Broncos are the really serious contenders for sucking more than Minnesota. Another team or two that has won 1 game will enter this group as the season progresses.

If the Jets get Lawrence, would the Vikings be interested in trying to revive a talent like Sam Darnold? Or the same with the Eagles if they truly give up on Wentz? I don't know, I guess it has to be researched by the organization at the minimum. Not having a 2nd round pick is going to haunt the Vikings for this Draft for any mobility.

The issue with writing teams off that have their QB is that if they end up with the #1 all they'd likely trade it to one of the other teams that suck. I say tank this bad boy. 0-16 gets it done but I'd rather not be in the record books with Detroit. So 1-15?

The logic really gets reversed here, doesn't it? Usually a "trap" is a team that looks weaker than us and should be an easy win but we overlook it and let them surprise us and we get a loss that hurts our chances at a strong record for a playoff spot or seeding.

But a team that is tanking gets trapped if they assume a team is better than them and an "easy loss" - but we somehow win and that "hurts" our attempt to have a terrible record.

By that logic, Tennessee was a "trap" because they were 2-0 so we should have expected to "lose easily". So hey, we actually "pulled out a last-second loss" yesterday in a potential "tank trap" game. The Vikings might actually be really good - or is it bad? - at this tanking thing!!
