How much is he guaranteed to make this year?  I thought he has the most guaranteed money. Doesn't really matter I guess. One of the top paid regardless. Needs to win a few rivalry and big games still in my book. Unless he likes being Green Bays b!tch.
It going to be a interesting draft day. Got that to look forward to. How next year plays out will be interesting as well. Lots of changes. More uncertainty.

The key to the Diggs trade is can Josh Allen improve his accuracy down the field. In his career, he is 6-50 on throws over 30 yards in the air, 3 TDS 3 INTS. On throws between 20-29 yards, he is 21-71 6/6. That MUST improve.

Lolololololololololololol.

He's currently 16th.

Kind of funny,  we got stronger reactions for suggesting that Diggs would be traded than I am seeing now that it came to fruition.  Perhaps its shock,  Shouldn't be,but it has to be something.

Also,  I've been wondering if this little shit show hasnt been about wanting a new deal,  which the team really couldn't afford so they did what they had to do.  Diggs seemed like the kind of guy that gets wrapped up in where his contract is in value vs his peers and it had to chew on him that he was so grossly underpaid.   So maybe he didnt ask for a trade in those words,  but his tactics suggest something was afoot from his camp.

didn't want to be here---adios MF
Couldn't have said it better. Bills fans can wake up to his daily mental meanderings and wonder if someone's feelings got hurt the day before.

Listen, Diggs was a very, very good player for us but no AC, CC, Randy or even on this roster, Adam, IMHO.  The Minneapolis Miracle will be one of many highlights in my long love affair with the Vikes, but ultimately it boils down to a player not happy with our scheme and we accommodated his wishes and sent him to a competitive team with immediate impact.

Plus the fact we have improved our draft prospects bigly!  Wink As CBS called it...a true WIN-WIN.

Honestly, Diggs can't be loving this. He's going to go full diva on Allen, watch and see. Josh is not accurate. Diggs will be highly frustrated.
I think you're right. He said it himself weeks ago: "Be careful what you wish for." Both Diggs and the Vikings are not going to like the results of this.

Yep, its a risk for Minnesota but Diggs has been trying to push his way out since late Spring of last year....I'm sure the Vikings would have preferred to keep him, but that's on Diggs. No denying Diggs' talent. But they got very good compensation and now it becomes what will that turn into from a player perspective.

Josh Allen struggled on deep passes last season - 14/63, 4 TD, 3 INT, 59.7 passer rating (27th among 32 qualified QB), with 10 of 14 deep completions targeting John Brown.
In a related story, Stefon Diggs sets world record in the helmet toss.

I was sitting in shock for a couple minutes processing it all...  then I laughed.  If he was frustrated with our offense and didn't like Kirk (from a personality standpoint)...  just wait until he is in Buffalo's run heavy scheme with an inaccurate QB trying to get him the ball...  MaroonBells is right, be careful what you wish for...

Vikings just went from retooling to rebuilding. Love having another 1st rounder, but good luck trying to replace that kind of talent anywhere in the draft.

This trade would actually make a lot more sense if the Vikings were rebuilding. Instead we're trying to resign Griffin, we're re-upping Kirk for 3 years, and we're giving top end money to fullbacks.
I don't think this deal is part of some greater plan. Guru just said as much! Sadly, this is just a team trading away a disgruntled player for a nice haul of picks that may or may not work out.
Amari Cooper Salary - 5 yrs/$100MStefon Diggs Salary - 4 yrs/$45M (!!!)
Diggs likely forced their hand, and that's unfortunate. Diggs was a great player on a steal of a deal. And he gone. Bummer.
Alright Rick, prove to us you're the man on draft day once more! Tall task ahead but you've done it before.
His contract was a big part of his trade appeal. I think the Vikings would be wise to target WR on day two and use those 1sts on secondary and OL.
