DeAndre Hopkins and a fourth round pick go to Cards for David Johnson and a second round pick this year and a fourth round pick next year.

There is no rationale that can explain this move.

Keim got O'Brien blind drunk.

Wow... if this was David Johnson from 2017, maybe it makes sense? But he looked old and slow AF this past season.
Cards won this deal big time.

With that return, that should assure Diggs of being in Minnesota next year. Where's Bowie Kuhn???

Bloated contract and in decline and you get a top 5 WR.
I hope O'Brien at least got a reach around...or two items off the dollar menu...

Deandre Hopkins is a 27-year-old, All-Pro wideout earning 12.5, 13.5, and 13.9 million per year over the next 3 seasons.
He is an elite, top 5 WR with the 14th highest paid WR cap hit in 2020.
He was just traded for a 2nd round pick and a 28-year-old RB making 10 million/year.

I cant stop laughing at how bad of a trade this is for Houston. I would be livid if they were my team, what was O'Brien thinking?

Houston may want to re-think this no GM thing... O'Brien is definitely no Bill Belicheck.
