I have never deleted a thread. Not once
Interesting. Well regardless, lost in all the fervor of the looters being pieces of shit, there's zero discussion here about the peaceful protestors gassed Monday night - without warning - on Trump's orders so he could have a photo op as he fumbled a Bible in front of a church... all because people made fun of him the day before, hiding in a bunker and turning the porch lights off because people had mean signs about him outside.
Just wondering why that was deleted. I didn't attack anybody.

Not a good move by the president.
Also, POS is a strong term but appropriate for looters. Law breakers are certainly not deserving of praise or adoration. Floyd's death is a tragedy and looting is certainly not honoring the man or spirit.

That's what's telling to me about this board. I'm right there with everybody that senseless looting, opportunistic violence that's just using GF's death as a springboard to cause more harm and chaos, is absolutely abhorrent and needs to be dealt with.
But those same posters never seem to be upset with the leadership that continues to throw gas on this fire. Targeting a peaceful protest so you can appeal to your Evangelical base because your ego was bruised is just nonsense and should be condemned. But yeah, we won't hear a peep out of MAGA about that.
No consistency with that group which is why they have absolutely zero credibility.

politics are not allowed on this board. we tried to relax that and it went to shit so it will be enforced once again. any further political or other topics deemed off limits for the main board will have the threads moved to the ST board and repeated attempts to start new threads will have posters rights revoked. ( OFF LIMITS include politics, religion, race, and anything else that sets people at odds, other than football related topics that always have us at odds)
The moderation team is in agreement that this is a football board first and foremost and will not allow angry discourse to make any poster feel unwelcome, especially if that discourse stems from non football related topics.
And we dont delete threads. We remove posters from threads, and we move threads when necessary, but to my knowledge no threads started by actual posters here have been deleted. I do clean up the board when spammers hit us and flood the page with junk, but never that I recall have we deleted any thread started by an active poster.

The looting - it seems - is, at best, opportunistic and just selfish. At worst, it's coordinated by political factions to discredit what could be a peaceful protest.

Well, I have no way of seeing if they were just moved since you've banned me from anything besides the main forum.
Also, that's rich that you're not allowing politics but allowing the George Floyd main thread started by BigTDs. As if race and politics aren't absolutely hand in hand here. So your own speech is allowed, but once people disagree with you, you just swoop in and ban posters.
plenty of heads in the sand on this one. it is amazing how people can not understand these things arent mutually exclusive.
