Get the man some protection.
6. KIRK COUSINS, MINNESOTA VIKINGSAfter a slow start to the season and one of the worst games of his career in Week 2 against the Packers, Cousins turned things around to put together the best performance of his career and his second top-10 finish in PFF grading. He took to the Vikings’ outside zone/play action-heavy scheme, working well both inside and outside the pocket. Cousins was incredibly accurate at the intermediate (10 to 19 yards downfield) level, and he cut down on his turnover-worthy plays. The biggest improvement this season was his increase of 3.8 percentage points in positively graded throw rate, the third-highest mark in the NFL, and that's a credit to the system and supporting cast in Minnesota, even with their injury woes. Overall, it was a strong second season for Cousins, who improved his game and came through in big spots over the course of the year.
Key Stat from QB Annual: Cousins finished with the No. 4 PFF grade from a clean pocket, but he ranked just 23rd under pressure.

I agree but he has got to have one of the worst feel for the rush that I have ever seen from a top line starter. I wish he had better pocket presence but probably too late for that. Maybe Case could borrow him his.

This is the key stat. You can't keep a clean pocket every time and for a QB like Cousins the pocket has to be absolutely perfect. I am not surprised with the #6 ranking, because he played fantastic against teams with losing records. I would be more interested to see where he ranks against teams with winning records.
Despite what's going to in the secondary, we really need to focus on the O line if we are going to maximize our investment.

This. So this.

I agree. I'd even sacrifice Harris for a couple of good moves on the o-line. Here's a dream...
LT- Trent Williams (trade D3)
LG - Tristan Wirfs (D1)
C - Garrett Bradbury
RG - Josh Kline (or Samia)
RT - Brian O'Neill

I agree on addressing the OL. Not trying to be mean but there is a very slim chance on getting Trent Williams AND Tristan Wirfs. I believe we would have to trade up to take Wirfs which would mean we would lose a pick that would potentially be included in the Trent Williams trade. I'd really like to make a run at Scherffs and then address Reiff however we deem necessary.
I think they can do both regarding the OL and secondary...
This is going to be the last rodeo for a lot of the Vikings players, coaches and front office as we know them today if they don't.
A big flush or a big trophy???

I did say it was a dream. I'm also not convinced that Wirfs is a high 1st rounder. You don't like Wirfs there then draft Jones or PTW, put them at LG. Or Harris. Or Muti. Or Biadasz. You see my point.

As a Hawkeye, Tristan Wirfs is a bad man. Kid was a heck of an athlete in high school as well, which included multiple shot put and discus championships, plus a state wrestling championship his senior year. I think he tears it up at the combine and is a lock for a top 10 pick. I'm also not so certain that the Vikes dont trade up in the draft. Wishful thinking
