I am wondering if the Dem party rulers (not nancy and her like,  but the real power behind the party... the $$$$$ dononrs)   were the ones dragging their feet on the impeachement stuff in the house because they knew Biden could come away badly scarred if the Senate republicans forced what actually was going on in the Ukraine out in the open?  I am not saying Trump did/didnt over step his authority,  or that the Bidens did anything questionable,  but just the appearance of impropriety could kill Biden and IMO that is who the establishment has penciled in to really challenge trump from the blue brigade.
