Hoping we see 4 QBs off the board by #25.

I have been seeing Herbert drop out of the first round. Anyone have any information on why that would be? I have tried searching and am not finding anything.

I haven't seen every single mock out there, but of the ones I've seen , Herbert is typically gone by the time the Bucs pick.

Could you provide a link? I'd be curious as to who dropped him that far.

CBS has fallen off the map for me as a resource. It appears the bulk of the guys I liked left for The Athletic.

Fair enough. I still look quite a bit at CBS. I admit not as much as I used to.

I'll admit what I've seen from Love is limited. Only watched a couple games so far, and I like his mobility and arm, but whenever scouting profiles talk about a QB's poise in the pocket, how he's not afraid to stand in there and deliver the ball despite all the chaos around him, my ears perk up. That was one of things that stood out to me about Brad Johnson in his rookie preseason. I think that sort of fearless composure, more than anything else, is what made a 9th round backup from Florida State a 17 year pro.

In his latest mock draft, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. pegged Utah State QB Jordan Love to the New Orleans Saints with the No. 24 overall pick."At 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, Love can make every throw, and NFL teams are high on his talent. He could be a first-round pick with a strong pre-draft process, which started at the Senior Bowl (this week)," Kiper writes of the Utah State gunslinger. Round 1 is probably a bit rich for our tastes when it comes to Love, but his physical ability is going to engender fans this spring. It's just a matter of how bullish those teams end up being. All told, Kiper has four quarterbacks (Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, Love) landing on Day 1 in this most recent mock exercise.

—The Los Angeles Chargers need a quarterback, and word around Mobile is that the team likes Utah State's Jordan Love. The Chargers own the No. 6 overall pick in the first round, which might be too early for Love, but as happens every year, a quarterback could rise up the board due to need at the position. Love's arm strength, athleticism and potential make him my QB3 in this class.
