That is exactly what the plant manager said. They can care less but we are not putting him back in that vehicle and have him pass out and hit other's. From a fall he took on our property. He had someone pulled the van out of the gated area and told them they can pick up the key at the office before 5:30. He was actually kinda PO'd they wanted him to drive off the property.@suncoastvike said:
imagine the lawsuit if he had gotten into an accident on the way to the ER to have a head wound checked out.... lawyers would have been lining up to get that case.@BlackMagic7 said:
I don't really understand why the moving company sent the driver back after the client damaged the truck. I don't get how an employee contacts an owner/boss and explains what's going on - only to get called back like 'hey, that guy who threw rocks at you is really sorry and he promised me an extra $800 for the damage! Get your ass back there!'
When he got back, they refused to pay the extra and they jumped him. They popped the back of the truck and took their stuff. They also took someone else's stuff out of the truck - and allegedly broke some of that property by throwing it back in. We had a driver for DSL fall and hit his head had a good sized gash. We called 911. They came checked him out and suggested he get stitches and checked out at the hospital. He called in and they wanted him to drive himself there in the van. We couldn't believe that sh!t so we parked his van and one the managers drove him in their car and we had his wife meet him there.
Company's care right.
