Big Goon back tonight against the Seahawks

Vikings defense gets a bit of good news today. Just over 3 weeks removed from surgery on the meniscus in his right knee, I’m told nose tackle Linval Joseph will be available to play in Seattle tonight.

Good.  Need that man in the middle.  He makes our LBs so much better.

That defense has become hopeless at stopping anyone.

LJ is supposed to be a run stuffer.  What did they average per carry on 1st down last night?  Had to be about 6 yards it seemed like.   If LJ is indeed healthy then we better add a massive DT to replace him to our list of offseason needs.  Seattle pissed all over our run D last night the whole game.

The run D actually looked worse with LJ there.  Zim's D has no identity anymore.  Can't stop the run, and won't blitz and plays soft on passing downs.

It's a simple game - you bring in more people than the line can block with a S in the box to stuff the run.

Zimm played 2 deep a lot of last night. Didnt want to get burned over the top.

Protecting the corners???  :o

The DE's need more help from the DT's and I have a growing suspicion this is EG's last year as a Viking too.

None of the defensive tackles played on the right side of the line of scrimmage. Seattle's O-line looked bigger and far more dominant than the Vikings D-line. Looked a little like the Bears against the Vikings.
Did the Vikings have any tackles for a loss on running plays?
