13-29 against teams with a winning record at the time of the game. Why make a change with such fabulous results from Zimmer? I'll say something positive about him: few of those 29 losses were probably outright blowouts. He has mastered losing close games to good teams. Absolutely mastered it.

Not saying this doesn't deserve weight but isn't this just math?  Don't winning teams...win?  I'd like for Zimmer's teams to be doing better but I've got to believe that most games lost by all coaches come against winning teams. 

Back in the after Denny to pre Zimmer we'd lose all the damn time against teams with losing and winning records alike.

For me, I'm not arguing for Zimmer. I was arguing that the D was garbage. Listen: if the Vikings miss the playoffs 2 years in a row after taking a big, BIG swing on the Kirk Cousins contract, they need to all be held accountable. This team was supposedly at the Superbowl's doorstep at the start of last season. Now they aren't even a playoff team back to back? Cannot be tolerated.
