What an asshole

Colin Kaepernick may not be in the NFL, but that hasn't stopped him from being active in the community.
The quarterback spent his 32nd birthday feeding the homeless in Oakland, California, TMZ reports. Kaep brought out a food truck for the people living in Oakland's Tent City, a large homeless encampment. He reportedly paid for every person who wanted a meal.

Still doesn't deserve to play in the NFL.  But good for him.

Why are people still infatuated with this guy?  He’s 32. Hasnt played for what 5-6 years. He had 1 good season and sucked after that. If I remember right he got benched long before “the kneel” and yet people still think he got screwed?

Even Ponder had a decent season and you dont see people clamoring to bring him back. Kaepernick is a has been and nearly was a never been.

Although good for him that he used his wealth to help others in need.

its because he champions for racial issues,  that makes him a martyr no matter what the facts are about the rest of the story.

This.  He was a run first QB with a big arm but poor QB skills.  Athletic, big, but not good enough at QB to make it work.  And then he went on the diet or whatever and lost the size and athleticism.  So they were left with a thin QB with poor skills.  And yes, that was all before he went martyr.  So he had his shot in the NFL like so many others.
Good for him for doing good.  But I don't really care what he does, good or bad.

Nothing wrong with divisive. Jesus was divisive. MLK was divisive. Shouldn't we all be working to thwart racial injustice--injustice of any kind?
