GB had Aaron Jones line up in 7 different spots last night pre-snap. Kid's not sniffing Kamara any time soon but he's a legit threat. The last thing you want is him lined up as a WR singled up with Barr or even Kendricks.

Dalvin is not that guy. Bimbo Fisher only ever used him for screens and swing passes. Can he become that guy? Love the player but not sure that's in his DNA. Can Mattison? Looks like Dalvin-lite to me, hope I'm wrong.

Still wish Minnesota had added someone after Jet went to Cali that was a versatile threat in the passing game. I get that Kamara is a generational talent ala Tomlinson but but there are plenty of players in that role who can line up all over the LOS and create major mismatches. Just not on this team so far.

And what's with this Kumerow dude?  I hate those assholes and they for sure get the Refs fluffers  before home games. But Aaron Jones is starting to look like a serious threat.

It's not smoke and mirrors...When you get a generational talent like Rogers and put some decent talent around him good things can happen.

Right now I'd' have to say which ever team (The Saints or Packers) gets home field is the favorite for the SB. I know there are some who think the 49'ers should be mentioned in the same breath, but I dont put JG in the same league as Brees or Rogers.

I think the Vikings are in the next tier including Dallas and Seattle.

I rhink things are a bit more evenly matched than it seems. If we are talking all around dynamic playmaking ability, Cook destroys him in the run game.

That more than makes up for Jones being able to produce a few times a game lined up elsewhere. As an example Jones long for reception bests Cooks 67 to 31. Flip side,  running Cook wins 75 to 18. Im lazy but gotta believe Cook has 12 plus runs longer than Jones long of 18.

Also lets keep in mind we weren't exactly running a gun slinging offense the first few weeks. Even with increased passing attempts and much improved offense of late. Lrior to tonights game Minnesota is third to last in passing attempts.  Green Bay is 10th best.

Targets: Jones 42
                Cook  34

Receptions: Jones 34
                       Cook  29

Yards: Jones 355
             Cook  293

YAR: Jones 10.4
          Cook.  10.1

TDs: Jones 3
          Cook  0

Its Rodgers. Always. His talent is amazing. Now they've surrounded him with capable playmakers. It is what it is. I think Minnesota is a good team, not a great one. They'll have their chance at U.S. Bank against the Packers to win. Otherwise, they need to focus on each game as its put in front of them. The Packers have done what they can to be 7-1.

You can say the exact same thing about GB. They didn't unlock that Offense until the last few weeks. And I think they are just now figuring out what Jones can do as a receiver.

Well the Packers should have 3 losses right now if not for the refs' bullshit calls against both us and the Lions, and Cousins' idiotic INT in the end zone on first and goal.  Zimmer has definitely proven that he can contain Rodgers and our offensive skill players overall (minus QB) are vastly superior.  Our defense also has a much more proven track record.  I like our chances against the fudge.

I'm not as sure about our D as I used to be.

We'll see how the next couple of difficult road games go. I just hope that the North and significant play-off seeding is still at stake when we play GB here end of season.

Either that or we have it all wrapped by then  B)
