Great article.  The Wilfs have shown a lot of class and the franchise is reflecting them.

Lots of ways to measure the effectiveness of ownership

win/loss
franchise health
infrastructure/facilities
community engagement
culture
league influence and leadership

Probably many more...In many ways the Wilfs have been exemplary, shining beacons of pro sports ownership, not just nfl ownership.

They've also had the benefit of a financial balance sheet previous owners here could only dream about with USB generating cash and franchise growth value.

Some will look at only the win/loss record.

Lots of ways to tell the story of the Wilfs and The Vikings. IMO they have been exemplary, in spite of fleecing me for PSL $$.

Their teams have made the playoffs at half the rate of the franchise prior to their ownership.   Their hiring choices have been atrocious in many cases, and their triangle of authority set the team back years.   They screw their business partners and get fool fans to believe their p.r. about wanting to win, as if that matters.  They are good at making money, not at winning football.   And that's all I care about.  The rest is just more of the p.r. bullshit that papers over their incompetence at football operations.

Agree. This is one thing I think too many take for granted. The Wilfs are among the best owners in the league.
