Taking the spectacular Dalvin Cook for granted (for lack of a better word)

142 today, a couple jaw-dropping runs.

One of the top 2 rb's in the league today...

You are forgiven. Don't do it again! Wink

142...without a huge single run...he's due for a big gainer...he's going for two hundred before the season is over...on pace for 1,600+...

2 of those runs were simply on him.  He was stopped in the hole and somehow bounced back and took the speed outside.

I would love to see him break ADs records, nothing against AD,  but I think Cook is the versatile all around type of player that can challenge AD for Vikings legends if he can just stay on the field.   it will be interesting though to see how the team handles his contract in a year after they got handcuffed by AD...with Mattison in the fold will they give DC league topping type money even if he earns it?

We are not even using Cook to his full potential.  He can catch the ball downfield.  Get him matched up on a LBer and it will be a mismatch every time.  I hope they are working on that in practice.  Need to give defenses one more thing to worry about.

They're saving that... I hope.   =)

Cook is nice and I like him but the dude has yet to play a full season.
If he is able to do that then he really would be impressive.
If he does not make it this year (knock on wood) then his contract extension could prove tricky.
He has to prove he is durable.

Anybody still wish the Vikings would have drafted Joe Mixon instead?
