Yeah I thought it was dumb as hell. His own lineman Irving stepped on his ankle so he was already limited. It sucks.

Dumb move by Reed. Aikman had talked about that very same thing a few minutes prior to the play.

I'm not blaming Reid here, when is the last time a QB got messed up like this on a sneak? Never? It was a fluke. But yikes, what a fluke.....I can see the conversation for sure that maybe you error on the side of caution. But personally, I'm not blaming the HC here.

If you cant run your game plan he shouldn't have been on the field.  This injury had nothing to do with his taped up ankle,  it's a freak thing and really shouldn't reflect on coaching or play calling.

Well, GB will have to play em after a 9 day rest...

We'll have to see how that knee comes around - or not. MRI's today. 

True the knee had nothing to do with the ankle, but I probably would have handed the ball off vs a sneak with my NFL MVP QB on a somewhat gimpy ankle.

3 weeks is very optimistic. 6 weeks is more likely, providing he doesn't have significant ligament or cartilage damage; in which case, it could be the whole season.
