And yet Jarius Wright still outperformed him....

So my question is then if some are blaming the QB for not throwing to a covered Treadwell, you see what happens when you do: interception. He's not Cris Carter. He's more Lynda Carter. The whole premise is silly. Now if he were more like Gal Gadot, we'd have something. Wink
Was he clearly interfered with yes or no?

Was there a flag?  Obviously it wasn't that clear if there wasn't a flag.
Not blaming him but he could have made a better play on the ball.  He's not blameless.

There were only 20 completions by Case in the entire game.  How many catches should've LT have had?  This is the breakdown:

Receiving REC YDS TD LG

Jarius Wright

3 54 0 30

Kyle Rudolph

5 43 0 19

Adam Thielen

5 41 0 14

Laquon Treadwell

3 28 0 11

C.J. Ham

1 12 0 12

Jerick McKinnon

3 10 0 9

Both Treadwell and Wright were targeted 4 times and caught 3 of them.  Treadwell's only none catch was on the long pass that he was interfered on.  Two games in a row for Treadwell with 3 catches on 4 targets.  I see progress and hope the targets increase for the young WR.

I have patience, but what round was this guy drafted? 4th or 5th?

Because his numbers don't match a 1st round pick.

More than that: his potential is disappointing for a first-round pick. Geoff said, "physical limitations"...patience won't fix that.

I have a hunch that he was kind of a Norv Turner pick. Not in a vacuum, but if another WR or two were gone that were preferred by consensus, I could imagine Norv pushing for Treadwell because he believed he would turn into Michael Irvin. But this is just speculation based on the indications that Norv became terribly disconnected from the team's direction last year.

So far they don't.  Sometimes 1st rounders don't play up to their slot but can still be valuable players.  Just like late round picks sometimes play about their slot.

Not sure he has physical limitations. I know some complain about speed but there are lots of "slow" WR's.

Sure don't. I get that a certain percentage of a fan messageboard are going to have homers that won't ever bad talk any Vikings, but if a dude deserves scrutiny, its Treadwell. And Spielman for drafting him. The numbers don't lie.

Scrutiny yes.   Some calling him a bust during year 2 is premature and shows a lack of patience.  WR's are a historically slow group to contribute.  There are always exceptions.
