I wouldn't anticipate the Vikings having much if any interest in Mr. Unlimited.
Of course not. During Silly Season, I always find it interesting into what fan's can talk themselves into.
What would his goofy catchphrase be if he joined the Vikings?
As much as it would be so cringe to find out.....I really don't want to find out, you know what I mean? :p
Wilson is still a good QB. I don’t know why people are claiming he was declining in Seattle. It’s not remotely true. He played well for the Broncos last season, but they hired a dictator as head coach. He just isn’t the dictator’s (just run the play) type of QB so he’s gone. The Broncos are a dumpster fire and it isn’t Wilson’s fault. He’d be a solid add if we lose Cousins. I’d do a 3 year contract with a palatable cap hit year 3 if you go with your rookie you drafted at 11. With the rookie contract still in place, you can easily do this. The question ai have is the off set language. Does it have to be a one year contract or can it ne worked into a new one?
The thing I question is if you can get Wilson at a reasonable price? I’m doubtful. Guys like Minshew are no better than a rookie or what we have on the roster so realistically, Wilson is the one decent option. Baker would be a good option, but I’m guessing he wants a longer term contract. Realistically, he’s earned it.

Maybe he could take inspiration from the Herschel Walker deal... "Vikings country, let's trade!" :p

huh what? except for the part about seattle and the broncos i would guess you were talking about zach wilson. sorry bro but I dont see russ as having a future in the NFL.
now as soon as I say that he will have a hit rock bottom moment, recommit to his craft effort, and once again become the guy that I least wanted out D to face every year, but I dont thing he is at that point in his professional career yet, if he ever hit it.

He might be a dick. He might be even be a cancer. And because this team values its culture so much, I’d be surprised if we went down that road. I don’t even think I’d want them to. But if you’re just talking pure ABILITY, he's easily the best option out there and it’s not particularly close.
Signed a 1.2 million dollar deal. Peanuts. Low risk, potential big return signing in Pittsburgh.

Willing to be wrong on this but I think it’s a great move by PIT. Not just because it’s a cheap, what the heck type of move but because I think he’ll play well.
They have a solid roster. Much better than Denver’s. And an HC who’s not a complete clown.
He’s obviously not Tom Brady and idk about a ring, but I could see this being a scenario where in a year or 2 we all look back (Like after Brady signed fairly cheap and won a ring in TB) and say, jeez why weren’t more teams in on that?
Like I said, maybe I’m dead wrong but I think Russ will do well there. Way better than their other options.

It'll be an interesting story line for sure...
Strong coaching and Wilson had some advocacy in the locker room with Hayward etc...
AFC is so stacked though -- and the Jets with a healthy Rogers should be in the mix.
NFC is boring right now vs that other conference.
