Wow...quick, give up, before the line gets too long!

Sad, just plain sad.
Bruh…Kirk was literally the offense. He’s easily the second best QB in Vikings history…and he’s toast. The season is effectively over.
The defense and the o-line have both evolved all season. Hall might be coachable. I don't understand "supporting a team" when it seems like most "fans" spend most of the time sweating the draft position, rather than supporting the players that are there.

Is spending the whole season looking ahead to replacements...support?
Look, if Jaren Hall is the second coming of Jesus so be it. I’ll happily be wrong. I just think it's infinitely more likely that he sucks and if he starts the rest of the season, we don’t win a game.

I also believe that there is not one QB available to us that will be able to get us to the playoffs.  Look I’m not hoping we lose, but it’s literally inevitable at this point. At the end of the day, the only difference between 4-13 and and 8-9 is the worse draft pick and a tougher schedule next year.

Hall would win a few games just because strange things happen in the NFL all the time.  Even the Bears, Panthers and Cardinals have wins this year.

Nobody is crowning Hall. At all. But why not see what they've got? If he crashes and burns, so be it. Higher draft selection then. But on the very very low chance the kid outperforms expectations in a big way, then awesome.
Sure.  The upside if he can play well is several years of cost control while you pay JJ, Darrisaw, etc.   This could be the Vikings Wally Pipp/Lou Gehrig moment.  At least for full-on optimists like all of us in this forum.  =)

Week to week, baby! That's how I live my football fandom.

Jaren Hall is ass, and we don’t have a running game to hide/protect him. The Vikings are about to look like the Hawkeyes. I’ll bet everything in my FanDuel account we lose to the Falcons
I know it's an emotional time but lets not get carried away with the Hawkeyes comparison. That is unless KOC is giving up play calling to Brian Ferentz.

I don't see a new qb outside the team coming for the Falcons game. That doesn't make sense. I would rather see what Hall has versus noodle arm Ryan or turnover machine Jameis. This is absolutely the time to give him a shot. Unfortunate that it happened like this but it is what it is. How does anyone know if he is ass or the second coming of Jesus (hyperbole much?). Just let it play out. I mean why the hell not?

Hall is going to get the Atlanta game. That's almost certain. Beyond that, we'll see.

Jesus isn't a terrible idea. I know Peter, James and Mary Magdalene swear by his escapability.

EAGAN, Minn. — Kirk Cousins underwent an MRI Monday morning at Twin Cities Orthopedics that confirmed an Achilles tendon tear. The timeline and details of his upcoming surgery will be determined this week. The team will continue to provide updates.
Cousins suffered the injury without contact in Minnesota's Week 8 win at Green Bay. The injury occurred on Cousins' 61st offensive snap of his 150th career game. He was replaced by rookie Jaren Hall.

when Jaren Hall has 92 passing yards next week and we run for 35 because there’s 10 in the box, you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Well that might be the more likely outcome but I still want $10 on that 1/1,000,000 odds that FLVike is offering.

The next question is, does it really mater?  Besides the Eagles designing a perfect offense for a subpar QB, when was the last time any backup QB won or even took their team to the Super Bowl?

Odds are based on history, stats, experience, and other different circumstances. But, I cannot honor those odds based on the fact that after 50 seasons we are way overdue for something like that to happen. But if I did choose to honor those odds I would only be able to allow you to wager 1/4 of one cent.
