And yes Jimmy, guilty consciences must be a thing.

How about childishness?

Well, perhaps the Cheney's and McCains would be better off as just being honest and turning demoncrat. Perhaps then crazy nancy will learn Liz's name.
Foolishness...

Yeah, maybe not everyone in the media covering this was vaccinated perhaps?
Was this that hard to conclude? Really?
Or maybe the sidewalk was federal property, oh wait.
Cacklin Kamala and Crazy Nancy wore a mask behind Joe during his address to congress. The theater is spectacular.
Immaturity

How about we just call it what it is - stupidity.

We all know who's happiest about this country being as divided as it is?....
Indeed. And honestly, one of the overlooked aspects of the change in leadership here is the return to saber-rattling.
Like Trump or not, he didn't start any wars, was moving the middle east towards reconciliation. Now we have the war monger central party back in power and not sure what Biden will say that may kick it up a notch is very concerning.
One of the best features of his adminstration.

Yep. Was wondering if any of the leftists here could actually admit that, but I guess that is too much to expect.

Yeah no one took him seriously, the "Little rocket man" bullshit was pretty laughable. And giving away the Crimea, because they speak Russian was a real fine moment where the world was saying the US is great again.

Yes is one of his successes. He was bound to have one or a few. He was there for four freaking years with everything at his disposal. We must add, even though it was largely because of the "adults in the room".
Other Trump successes:
- There was no major hurricane with significant human casualties in mainland USA under his presidency (good thing he never heard of a category 5 hurricane). I have to use "mainland" and "significant human casualties" in order to make that a true statement and give him some credit.
- He is the only modern president who did not engage in a war. You just have to define modern to be after 1980
- He was the first president to say he will build a wall on the Mexican border (if you forget the second part of the statement - "and Mexico will pay for it)
- He appointed ( I guess appointing someone is a huge task but whatever) Supreme court judges even though when he took office he controlled all three branches of government and one died during his tenure (success again right?).
Anyway, mishandling the covid-19 outbreak is far worse than any war he could have started or any so called successes he had.
The catastrophic mistake that was the Trump presidency is a mistake the country will forever be trying to fix.
Every administration has a few pretty bad moments.. that's not new. The Trump admin and Trump himself were just terrible all around. Examples:
- wide spread mismanagement
- Nepotism
- corruption at the almost every government office
- inability to govern (can't even find people to govern or stay in office what happened to "I have the best people?")
- unqualified appointments
- No infrastructure plan (three failed attempts)
- Gross disregard for geo politics
- Embezzlement
- Trying to take away Healthcare from Americans (he even failed in that)
- Rise in social unrests
- Tax cut for the wealthy
- 2 Impeachments
- Gross lying to the American people ( pretty much being the liar he is or just being himself. I think this is actually a success?)
- Dismantling government institutions,
- Trusting foreign talking points over national security
- Inability to stand up to foreign dictators...
- Could not get Mexico to pay for his wall (He promised that and his supporters believed him - sad isn't it?)
- Then there were the Gross! lawsuits and lewd behavior... gross!
- Just terrible character, judgements and decision making (many close associate of his facing criminal charges, in jail or pardoned for doing things on his behalf)
- Inability to protect the country from a devastating pandemic despite advance warning
I can keep going but you get the point

Mask jokes and shots aside, do the conservative Republicans here really want Trump as their candidate again in 24? Do you really want his Nationalist, Trumpism agenda influencing the party doctrine on a forward basis?
I personally dont like the "far left" influences on team Blue, and I sure dont support Trumps influence on my old party of Lincoln...
I wish extremism on both sides wasn't so influential...sigh
well one thing that will keep the divide growing is the petty shit that takes place on boards like these. the name calling is going to be the end of this board as I am fucking tired of people thinking they can get away with it because of .... I dont care, if the civility doesnt return there will be immediate bannings coming.
Agreed! Civility also involves using proper language... you know not swearing all over the place and also not thinking this is all about " you".
if YOU dont like it, YOU can be the first to leave. I dont really care.
I never said that. I just highlighted what civility also entails. You are quite responsive for someone who does not really care. Maybe you should really not care as you say.
either follow the rules or go away, its up to you. cursing has not been against the rules ever on this board, being decent to each other always has been rule 1.
Fucking A.
