Placeholder For OL Prospects

Unlikely, but I heard one scout say that he's got some lower back issues and some sloppiness and standing around on film. So maybe.
This year he showed a lot more effort/nastiness and finished guys when he could.  However, that wasn't the case in previous years...  I read an interview from him recently that said he made it a primary focus to show teams that he cared about football, has an edge, and wasn't lazy this season since his tape from previous years wasn't good in that regard.

Ezra Cleveland is one of the most athletic OTs in this draft class so this should come to no surprise the #Vikings talking to him and showing interest. Would be a good day 2 pick for them.

Cleveland is yet another prospect that the #Vikings are connecting with virtually this week. https://twitter.com/jreidnfl/statu

Sleeper alert:

Kyle Hinton, Washburn, C

6-2, 295. Played left tackle the last three years. Projects to center in the NFL. 4.8 forty, 34 reps, 34.5 vert. Smart. Probably 7th round. 49ers met with him, so likely a Viking fit as well.

55% of the offensive linemen that made 1st or 2nd Team All-Pro over the past 5 years were drafted AFTER round #1. #development #coaching @JParolin

The HBCUs, as you well know, have a great reputation for supplying NFL talent. This year isn't exceptional but I do like Alex Taylor (6-8 3/8, 306, 36 1/8 arms) the OT from SC State who ran a 5.22 40 at the combine. Basketball player in HS. Still a little raw but has upside.

Replying to @Gil_BrandtHello Mr. Brandt, who's the best hbcu player you have scouted on film for this upcoming draft?
dude is rising up boards quickly, very intriguing

Lucas Niang is a name to watch closely. His tape is good and he has athleticism to go with his size. His hip injury prior to 2019 probably is hurting his stock more than it should. Could be a plug & play starter outside of the top 3 OTs.

Charlotte OT Cameron Clark, one of the more underrated prospects in this class, is receiving significant interest. He’s already had 12 FaceTime meetings with teams that include the #Browns, #Jets, #Bills, #Redskins, #Chiefs, and #Bengals, per source.
