it was a penalty yes,  but the hand on the flag thing is pretty common to see on every play.  Whistle in the teeth and hand on the flag to be ready if they need them.

I think it's the Wilfs that need to raising a stink. We don't want Zimmer suspended for conduct detrimental to the league. And as owners, the Wilfs actually have some pull to make changes.

I am amazed at his restraint. I know he wants to say something but he knows better. It has to come from the owners. I don't want Zimmer getting in trouble. And don't think for a minute they wouldn't pounce on the opportunity to punish him or the Vikings. It's sad that he was expecting crappy calls but not surprising. As a fan, I knew they would come.

A sad state of affairs and is killing the game and driving fans away. Sorry for the long incoherent rambling.

On another note, the cheer leading announcers do not help my sweet disposition either !

Good post, Fess.  I agree with you how it seems like at times the NFL tries to influence wins and losses.

It's pretty nuts that was called, while the two defenders are having a group celebration on a non-TD play directly in front of the official.

Zimmer challenged a rather obvious play a while after the non-call for Diggs and I was really wondering if it wasn't just to complain more about that and other things. They showed him saying something rather heated and pointing at the other end of the field than the players currently were, like where the Diggs play happened. Maybe not but I like to think that was the purpose.
