Yep, currently projected to get a compensatory 3rd (Waynes) and 6th (Mack): https://overthecap.com/compensatory-draft-picks-cancellation-chart/…

Pierce and Weatherly cancel out. Linval doesn't count for the formula as he was cut rather than had his contract expire.

So, 4th from the Bills and the Bears too...

Josh Allen and Jake Fromm are standing on a beach. Josh tries to throw the ball in the ocean and misses. Jake tries to throw the ball in the ocean and it lands 15 yards short.

One of the CBS taking heads said the new LB role is, paraphrased, a hybrid LB/S.  More emphasis on pass coverage than run stopper.  Dye should fill that role.
Big nickle LB

Dye is a totally different animal than Brothers.  He's a MLB but not a fit for nickle CB or S.

Brothers is more like EJ Henderson, a 2-down downhill thumper.  Dye is more of a 3-down ILB like Kendricks who is better in coverage but going to need to add strength.

Watched every game of his career at Oregon, he's a great kid with great instincts.  Also, he could easily play ILB next to Kendricks in a 3-4 ... don't forget we have Dom Capers, and all 3 of these picks in Round 4 would be scheme fits for a 3-4.
Good insight, was wondering on that as the DL guy was a 3-4 type as well

Typical Day 3 WTF is Rick thinking, IMO. Spends a 4th on a kid who likely replaces the Big Nickel he got in the 7th. Trades out of a spot with plenty of talent on the Board. Picks a kid who better become a backup Safety. Which could have been found later. Let's legit O-Line competition pass him by. Missing a run on what was left at WR.

He's like a Mad Scientist on Day 1 and Day 2 and just Mad on Day 3. I like the D-Line picks. The rest suck for me considering what was on the Board. And so much for using those 13 Day 3 picks to move up for players he targeted. Teams trading up left and right, so it's not like the 1st Round when everyone was playing it safe.

He does this bullshit every year so we should be used to it. His refusal to add interior OLine talent is baffling. I guess the fact that Elf is not on the shelf and will probably be a starter at Guard is really all you need to know about their ability to evaluate talent.
