Old guy, been with them from day 1. Yeah they pissed down their leg again. But a lot of teams had to knock on the door of a championship, for a year or two, before winning one. This team is built for a run like this every year for a couple of years at least.
It has been the best year for me as a fan since 2009.
It's a bitterly disappointing loss, but next year shows a lot of promise, and I can't wait.

i think it again shows the importance of home field advantage, and I feel this team really needs it no matter the era. Missed opportunity to have a chance at a SB at home. They are the Cubs of the NFL, but I do not think i can wait another 50 years.

I will only say that people were in Euphoria last week and now ready to bail this week.  They lost to a good team, that was beatable.  They did not lose to the Browns.

Not sure why the NFL sucks cuz our team lost.  As coaches will say to teams that they blew-out, "we didn't rub it in, but if you don't like getting your ass kicked, get better, don't blame us"

Barr sucks? Need Receivers? ok then....
Other than Diggs and Thielen ... What do we have?
Uhm, we were 13-3.  9th ranked offense, 1st ranked defense.  We lost a game to the 14-3 Eagles.  You don't win 14 games if you have only 2 players on our team.

The Offensive line is still a huge weakness.  It is better but against a premiere pass rushing squad like the eagles it was exposed.  We need depth at DE too.

the vikings are such a big part of my life but it sure is getting frusterated 30 some years in. i dont remeber the early 80s and wasnt around for the 70s. its gotten to the point that one has to ask:

if this wasnt enough what exactly will be?
Exactly. If this team is going to shit the bed how can I ever believe again? I’ll never go all in again. Because I still think the Vikings are the better team which is ironic since they just lost by 31 points.

Ha, I guess so? Long time lurker. If the op wanna go, then go. I'm a Vikings fan. I loved the squad this year. This was a team you would hope to be able to root for. It's brutal, but that team is now gone. Imagine how bad the players are feeling right now. I will remember this year more fondly than any of the forty years i recall. Damn, what a season! Vaya con dios. Thanks for the memories. On to the draft. The record is 0-0 and there is much to look forward to. I won't ever forget the magic. I probably won't live to see a Super Bowl victory but i saw something really rare this year, and so did you if you were paying attention. Skol!

45 years and counting here also.

Vikes fans are devoted....but we have no faith
10 opportunities (one or two wins away) to win a Lombardi trophy.

This is year with SB at home, touting the best defense in the NFL?

just another aneurism
I will never regard this defense as best in the NFL after what I saw here today.
