Yes, he won't count vs the 53 man roster until he comes off...some maybe a guy like Coley grabs the 6th spot in the interim...

PS for 2 seasons, but he was on the active roster late in the season when Treadwell was hurt.

So the activation makes him not eligible, correct?

from what I understand he is still eligible since he doesnt have a full accrued season on the active roster,   and for a player to be eligible for a 3rd year on the PS, the team must keep a full 53 man roster the whole year.
