And yet Jarius Wright still outperformed him....

I think Treadwell is improving and I would like to see him more involved.  He has done pretty good the last few weeks when targeted.  Also, not sure why Wright doesn't get more playing time since he always seems to do a good job.

Treadwell had 3 catches and Wright had 3 catches.  The #1 WR, Thielen, had a total of 5 catches for 41 yards.  Actually, Treadwell averaged 9 yards per catch compared to AT's 8 yards per, so he's getting first downs.

Wright had impressive grabs, but it's not like he "blew up" the stat sheet.  I didn't see any drops by LT, and I thought he actually played well.
ANY DROPS? He gave up an interception. He fucked up his hand placement and literally allowed his right arm to be trapped by the Defenders arm and popped the ball up for an INT!  The 1st damn throw by CK! That's about 1000 times worse than a drop. Do you even watch the games?
He was interfered with. How is that on Treadwell?
I think he should have quit wrangling with the defender and just got his arms up. While playing handsy with the other guy he could only raise it straight into his arm pit. I never see Dez Bryant get tangled like that!

Not sure what you were watching but it was clearly PI as the defender was holding down both of LTs arms without ever looking back for the ball. Carr was even trying to hold down the arm that Treadwell was able to get up for the ball. No way in hell that is at all on Treadwell.  The refs should be fined for missing that call.

He turned the wrong way.  Instead of using his body to shield the defender from the ball, he turned to face him and turned it into a hand battle.

He turned towards the ball.  If he had turned his back to the defender the pass would have been behind him.

5-2, top of the division. They jettisoned Boone. That shows that no one is married to the players they invested heavily into. Telling me the coaching staff wants Treadwell here. Good enough for me.
For sure, so far so good. I give the team a solid A so far. But the schedule is 16 games long.

I get that there are a lot of games to go.. But for the contract numbers, why give up on someone? Right now we have two receivers down. This team is winning because of our depth. Nor every first round pick is an all pro in year two.

If Treadwell learned his craft more in the mold of carter or as a tight end uses their body to shield the catch I think he could be very useful. I don't think you are ever going to see him beat his man consistently. But he has decent size, and an offseason weight training regimen could maybe help him transform his game to be that possession receiver type guy. I think he has the frame to carry more muscle but maybe not with his knee. Not sure. But I'd like to see it.

whats wrong with his knee?  wasnt it a broken leg that set him back a year or so?

Case's primary targets are Thielen and Rudolph. It's pretty easy film study for future opponents. He has to spread the ball around more. Having Wright in there (who runs good routes) helps. He helps fill the void left by Diggs. It only helps Case to have a guy like him in there more.
I too would like to see Treadwell get more looks but understandably for a guy like Keenum who is sans a Sam Bradford arm he trusts these other guys more. I think Treadwell can come down with contested catches. He did it in college. That was his game. He clearly was interfered with on the long pass play on Sunday and Keenum threw him a dying pass that looked rather sickly. That's not on Tread.
Thankfully our running game has been pretty good even without DC. We couldn't simply rely on Keenum's arm to get us wins. the O line is saving us IMO (let's hope they can stay healthy!!!).
