Wentz played a tough game, took a lot of shots and kept grinding, can't expect a lot more from someone who is a backup and just joined the team before the 1st game.  OL that was suppose to be so much better got dominated most of the game especially when it really counted. 

Defense needed to step up and they failed on every big play.  Offense playing with a backup QB, but no excuse for the defense.  Pretty tired of hearing how great Flores is and see him come in unprepared on the first series of every game and totally get outcoached.  Not sure anyone, but Flores thought that Philly's 5th corner was a starter, Philly sure knew the deal and exposed it all day.  If Van Ginkel is not back next game, someone other than Turner needs to start there.  Bummer, cause with a decent defensive game we win that game.

I agree that for most of the time, Hurts was just too comfortable back there. 

But it looked to me like Turner had a good game today? I saw him involved quite a bit.

We got pressure on Hurts but just couldn’t finish.

...which was the theme for both offense and defense.

Many red zone trips, but...yeah, mostly FGs.
All over their backfield, but Hurts kept getting away.

We were the Minnesota "Almost" today.

Biggest play of the game on the 3rd and long and had a free path to Hurts, he has to get to him or at least disrupt the throw, didn't seem like a great angle or effort, at least dive and try to trip him up.

NFL is all about the QB position. Wentz is a decent backup.  

We gotta get JJ in there and hope he stays healthy and develops.  Until he does we will be a mediocre team.

Sadly Eagles offense knew who to target and who they could beat, practiced against him all last year and knew his weaknesses.

Turner walked Lane Johnson back into Hurts all day. Straight up bull rush all game. Looks like the rush plan was to get to QB depth then pinch in. Mush rush if you will. 

Turner drops into coverage a fair amount of time. Interesting that Wilson had several reps on the edge. Looks like Pace has lost his job.

To be fair Wentz hasn’t been a Viking for 2 months yet. I expect there to be communication issues.

To he fair,  KOCs QBs have been battling a play clock his entire tenure.  We talk about the game having to slow down for the young players,   well maybe there is a reason he's was a back up QB at best.   I love his calm demeanor,  but damn he needs to show some fire once in a while,  at least realize the reality of be8ng down by 2 scores with under 8 to play.

Vikings would have won the game if they had a QB. They had a couple on their roster last year but gambled on an unknown. Going to be a lot of people questioning that decision unless McCarthy comes in and lights it up. Wentz is taking them down the tubes!
