He's done in purple.  They aren't going to re-up a 35 year old on rehab.

As for the season, this team wasn't in the mix for a SB regardless.  I'm fine with seeing what Hall can do.  And if he stinks then it's a better draft pick and they will be getting a QB in the next draft.
Too soon.... :p
i think hes more likely to be a Vike next year as a result of this injury

But at what price?  If he wants that top 5 money that he was likely on his way to making,   have to pass,  hes getting to old to likely sign a prove it deal,  so what do you give a 36 year old QB, coming back from a season ending injury, that was mobility challenged prior to his injury, that was having a career year,   whats that market look like?  How many years do you give him now?  How many future years do you push cap hits onto in order to make it happen?  I figured he'd be back, but this really muddied the issue imo.

I'm assuming he no longer will be able to command top money, Jimmy.  And if you can get him on a much more incentive-laden deal for 3 years, he becomes much more tenable than these fully guaranteed numbers while keeping Justing in town and all the weapons.  I don't think that was going to be possible before.  It may be now.  The main issue with Cousins before were more related to the overweighted contract, than his performance, I think.
