Imagine How You'd Feel If You Dogged Bradford All Offseason

well bradford had his best game as a pro and i enjoyed it.

i am a bridegwater guy. but never dogged bradford. dont recall anyone dogging him.

straw man and all that
uhm... yeah, Sam was dogged...plenty.

of course they wont admit its dogging even though all they wanted to bring up were stats without consideration to the situation those stats were created in.

Sams leadership was called out quit a bit,  Sams demeanor,  Sams durability, the list goes on.  Those who did it know they did it so,  but very few will actually cop to it, so it really doesnt matter.

I did it. I questioned him very much. Where I think it goes wrong is that people think I was saying he sucked. I have always had questions and last night proved a little bit against a weaker opponent. I am excited to see more. I really am.

OL played their best game in years.  When they play like that Sam AND the running game will excel.  Let's hope we see a lot more of what we saw last night.

I think Canthony makes an important distinction. There's being concerned about a guy and then there's just outright dogging him.

I admit I don't think he is as good as people are trying to say. BUT he can change my mind and prove me wrong. He did a great job last night with that. Now lets see it against Pitt on the road.

I certainly had questions about Bradford, about the o-line, about our WRs.  Early on it looked like our offense was settling in, adjusting as we were throwing short most of the time.  Don't know what caused it, but at one point I mentioned in chat that it seemed like the Saints backed off the pressure, only rushing 3.  And then our offense opened up and we threw downfield.

I think it was a great first game.  Our line played well together for the most part.  Sam got hit a few times, but mostly was clean.  The offense was patient but when given the chance went deep and put the game away.

As I said, Sam answered many questions, he wasn't skittish like the preseason, our offense went deep and looked good.  It was good to get some excitement back for Vikings football.

and weve seen both,  we have also seen those that are making distinct concerns for either QB get pushed into corners by some that are ridiculously the other way for their guy.   there is no room for reason or middle ground with some people.  its all or nothing.
