Hoping Pierce will prove to be a Pat Williams type signing for us. Signed to stop the run, but provided much more pass rush than anyone expected.
i would prefer the Joseph type of signing.  Pat was great, but Joseph was a beast.

Might just be the angle, but looks like too much air under that ball.

Funny you say that because I thought about comparing him to Joseph, but thought P-Dub was the more complimentary comparison. Joseph was a great signing, but PW was better IMO.

Was that Cousins or Browning? Either way, very pretty.

Really?  That is interesting.  I loved Pat and thought his personality was great, but he wasn't as strong or multidimensional IMO.

Curious, was Phat Pat seemingly better because he was such an improvement over the previous players, whereas Joseph was following Pat?

Linval was a beast when they got him from Giants.

I do feel like we got more from the Williams though. Seemed liked Linval started to decline pretty soon after we got him?

My recollection could be wrong though.

The fans from his Alma Mater are all over the board with him. Seems to have a lot of potential, if he keeps his head on straight.

I think PW benefitted more from his surround, having KW next to him, but after we signed him he did go to three straight pro bowls. I think he had a bigger impact than Joseph. It's close.
