The elected are just symptoms of a much bigger problem.
yes, considering the majority in the house, white house and their half of the senate, there is a huge problem in this country.
The aforementioned Warnock for example. SMFH
This might be just me, but I think the side of the aisle that just inspired an attempted coup MIGHT be a bigger problem...
Yeah, no I was already talking about the antifa supporting types.
Sorry, didn't mean to step on your circle jerk here. I thought maybe there was an honest liberal in the house. Guess I was wrong.
I love the troll that used Maxine Waters quote to get the democrats to condemn violence. What a bunch of hypocrites.
I'm a lib on many issues, not all. I sure as heck dont support Antifa or really nasty and evil people like MTG. We might actually agree on that despite being on both sides of the aisle? But I haven't heard you (or any other conservative here on the board) denounce her either.
Not sure I have here, but yeah, from what little I have heard, she sounds off the deep end. The Q crap is quite annoying and bizarre. Don't pay it much attention, but every now and then I see some of it come across my view. Usually can spot it quite quick.
What I wonder though, are there any on the left that will denounce Waters, Pelosi and others that have incited actual violence? Rand Paul had quite a list including the shooting at the softball practice.
This is a gross simplification, Ive come to the conclusion there's too many 70+ year old white people still running this country...On both sides of the aisle.
While this true, let's not pretend that diversity is an equal problem on both sides. In the house, for example, whites outnumber nonwhites about 20 to 1 on team red. On team blue, nonwhites outnumber whites.

The face of MAGA (for now) is orange, not brown or black
Nor does it reflect the growing diversity in the country or a great deal of urban/suburbs. But it sure has pockets of hispanic voters (especially Cuba origin) around. That was very evident in FL.
But I was talking more about the Stoney Hoyers, Pelosi, Schurmur, McConell of the world. The most powerful are just too old.

Antifa is an enormous exaggeration conjured by right wing media to assign the same sort of extremism to the left that they're burdened with on the right. But there's NO comparison.
This is totally untrue. One of my best friends is a LEO with Iowa State Police, he helped out with the riots in Des Moines. They were listening in on the plans that were being made by Antifa and would know ahead of time where they would be. He said every night there were peaceful protesters but when it got to be around 9-9:30 the peaceful protesters went home, Antifa stayed and started the riots. He said they would arrest them and they would get bailed out and it was the SAME people every night starting the violence. He also said that over 90% of the people arrested were from out of state. They even would laugh at the police as they were being booked and taunt them that they were being paid more for their violence than the cops were making and that there would be people coming around to post their cash bail and it happened every single night like that.
Why do we keep voting these people in?

Throw in AOC and her nutjob conspiracies.
House votes to strip Marjorie Taylor Greene of committee assignments The Democratic-led House took the unprecedented step Thursday of removing GOP Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from her two committees, saying the stream of inflammatory and menacing social media posts by her prior to become a lawmaker last month was too much to overlook.
The 230-199 vote was almost entirely along party lines with 11 Republicans joining every other Democrat in voting to unseat her from the Education & Labor Committee and the Budget Committee.
House Republicans Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., called it a “partisan power grab," saying Greene deserved leniency because her posts occurred before she was sworn into Congress. He also warned in floor debate before the vote that the unprecedented act of one party unseating a member of another without bipartisan consent would lead to reprisals in the future.
Democrats said they were compelled to act after GOP leaders declined to punish her.
“We are dealing with conduct that brings shame on this House, the kind of conduct that fuels domestic terrorism," said Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., who sponsored the resolution against Greene.
Thursday’s action came almost a month after pro-Trump rioters stormed the Capitol to try to stop Congress from counting the Electoral College votes that affirmed Joe Biden’s win. Greene continues to assert – without evidence – that the election was stolen from Trump.
Greene came to the floor earlier Thursday to disavow some of her previous incendiary posts on social media in a last-ditch effort to avoid punishment.
Though she expressed some regret, Greene never apologized during her speech on the House floor.
“During my campaign, I never said any of these things,” she said. “Since I have been elected for Congress. These were words of the past and these things do not represent me, they do not represent my district, and they do not represent my values."

Oh...so she just USED TO BE a nutbag. Right.
Not sure how this is going to play out in the long run, wish conservatives would show us "Values". Really have lost any respect for the GOP, she is BSC and dangerous and they do nothing. But look how long it took for them to address Steve King, my ex congressman. They will embrace anything to get power, look at the last four years.
