Makes me think about the ending scene in Cry Freedom, the movie about South African activist Steve Biko, where the list of others who died in custody roll by, along with their official cause of death: no official explanation, fell 7 floors, fell down stairwell, fell against chair, fell ten floors, slipped in shower, shot while escaping....probably a hundred names.

....especially in small towns in the South in the 60s. Police could kill whomever they wanted and nothing would be done about it. Sheriffs ran their counties like Kings with ultimate power. Shit was buried never to see the light of day. People disappeared.

This is a very hard left, take no prisoners forum. Personally, I mostly read the main forum for vikings news and occasionally stop by here and respond within a thread. IMO, we have many posters that are itching for a fight on many topics and enjoy baiting others. Skodin's post above is a good example of a baiting post. Some like to join never ending battles that will not have a winner. Personally, I think it is a waste of time and I have other far more enjoyable things to do in my free time. I knew I should have indicated @AGRforever that I didn't see you this way. You were honest about your feelings about the situation, it showed that differing opinions can speak clearly about something at horrendous as this situation. I appreciate that.
