we have 7 garage doors with “nooses” here at the farm. In fact I have no idea how youd close such doors without a rope tied to it. I mean that or the KKK mat be coming for us.

I'm glad this turned out to be nothing. I don't know a lot about the sport but did watch this documentary last week on Willy T Ribbs, the first black NASCAR driver. (Preview is below).

You can check it out on Netflix. I thought it was pretty good and it provided some insight into the history of racism in the sport and fanbase. Besides that, his Indy qualifying performance was pretty incredible.

Great question. Dog and pony show for Nascar to show how diverse they are, lol. What a joke this whole thing has turned out to be. Honestly, wtf?? Did Bubba overreact or was this some kind of weird PR stunt to get Nascar back on the radar? When there was no video on it, it didn't make sense to me. Now I get why. And the media is downplaying this finding by the FBI this morning....the whole thing stinks.

Of course the media will down play the FBis findings....they lose a story to manipulate if the viewers believe the fbi.

Another instance of where waiting for the whole story to come out would have been prudent....but that really kills the opportunity to rage for so many.

I know a lot of people are seeing a positive from all the recent events, but if things keep getting blown up out of proportion like this incident I could see a negative backlash that would potentially hurt the racial equality movement.

In today's news climate, the only intelligent thing to do is "Wait 3 days for the whole story to come out". Every single one of these news and social media sites is trying to push out their half baked articles to get all the outrage clicks.

Fake noose?

Good thing no-one jumped to any conclusions.

It was nice to see 15 FBI agents detailed, cuz nothing else going on like organized anarchy/rioting/looting in cities all over the US.

Would have loved to been there, while the black suits were dusting for prints, linking to databases....when Talladega deputy Sherriff Clem Beaudreau sauntered in and said "looks like a door pull rope."
