JFC Eck... you want us to shit on our team or what? What is the point of this thread?

To sit around and mope?
Who says shit on anything.  I agree with him,  the eagles I  Philly in January would be a tough out for the Vikes.  Even though their schedule is weak,  they've been pisspounding those weaklings,  and beating everybody else.   They look good.  I would rather see them in minny than in Philly myself.

I don't think it's shitting on the Vikes to acknowledge that another team will be a challenge.
It's one thing to acknowledge that they are a good team but good lord read the piss and vinegar going on here.  Sitting here talking about how we are the biggest chokers and other blah blah blah.

Whatever.

The Eagles have 5 games left to play just like us. Let's see where things stand at that point.

not sure why you would compare the vikings constant choking over the years with the eagles.

it will take a great defensive performance with creating turnovers and an offense to take advantage of that.
Talk to any eagles fan they are huge chokers as well.
i think the vikes have them beat by a large margin there.
4 NFC championship games in a row only one win and two superbowl losses in their history yeah they choked too.

And WTF does either teams past have to do with either team this year?  Neither team is the same as their last failures...we have what 1 player left from 09? (BRob) and do they have any?  Neither team has the same coaching staff from their last great chokes.

Welcome to this year,  the only thing that's the same is the shape of the ball and the size of the field....everything else is new and as so...past performance is no indicator of future results.

Eck brought it up /facepalm. Hence asking what is up with this thread.

My point was that teams lose at home even when they look unbeatable.

I could have gone with GB vs Eagles. Or I could have gone with any number of other games. It happens.

Right the reason I brought up 98 was to show that even the teams that look unbeatable sometimes get beat. It happens. Then you wnt on a tear about how we are the biggest chokers. For some reason.

Wow.  Not sure what the issue is here.   Philly is the team to beat ... I hope we can steal home field.

Nonsense. The Dutchman told the Eagles they were nothing before him and they will be nothing after him. Today, the Dutchman's words still ring true!

Facepalm?

Maybe move your hand away so you can read.

My post was in response to the choking claims from the past...nothing you were speaking of...

But do you honestly not believe that the home team is historically at a greater advantage?
