Would be criminal to not at least try and resign him. With a chance at landing a top 5 pick in a lost season, the Vikings blow them out. It's the Viking way Our shortest and easiest path to a Super Bowl at this point-- by far-- is if McCarthy figures it out and plays well. Don't give up on Plan A just yet dude!

150 total rushing yards so far. This should have been the blueprint all along for McCarthy...

Certainly happy to see McCarthy play much better, but at this point in the season, winning games does nothing for us. You can say, "well, it builds a winning culture heading into next season" but does it really? We are going to have a ton of roster turnover and likely other changes however this season ends. I'm not going to put a whole lot of stock into beating a bad Commies team. Good for the players, but as a fan it doesn't do much for me in the grand scheme of things Also, master class today put on by Flores

OK, KOC, time for that miracle....

Just at a point where worthless wins in an already lost season don't mean much to me. All it means is Kwesi and the other front office idiots have improved their chance at staying and the draft position gets worse. But carry on...

Some here would take the win plus a decent showing from JJM. Also we can’t ignore the opportunity to build chemistry on offense with the other position groups. There is never a bad win if you are in the business of competitive sports.

We've said all that needs to be said about the front office and coaching staff. Ultimately we all knew if we were going to get another win this season, today was going to be the day. We've got four games left and will certainly be underdogs in three of them. My hope is we see continued progression from McCarthy, some glimpses from the other young players, but ultimately losing does more for us then winning them does. If we can criticize the team and front office when the team loses we have to give them their due when they win. Can’t have it both ways. Anyway, how exactly will we progress without winning? Are you saying we should progress but not make enough progress to win? If we are making progress as you want us to do would winning not be a result of that? I am so confused. On another hand, it is way easier to coach and build trust, belief and confidence when you win.

Good game from JJ, hopefully plenty for him to build on... I cant imagine how he's been feeling the last month.
I think this is the first game the OL played the entire game all year? Would like to see the WR's more involved, but baby steps. ========================================
